Despite my late request, Hélène was very responsive and we were also able to communicate by phone. The cottage is easily located. Once you arrive... OUAHH what a view! A real moment of relaxation, in a comfortable and cozy chalet; the balcony and terrace allow real moments of relaxation, family sharing with lots of board games available, reading... The walks next door are exotic: very few people, the landscapes are diverse, hypnotizing. We did not know this part of the Alps and it is a real beautiful discovery.

Wonderful! We had a great time at Nathalie and Patrice's place, who were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is very beautiful, spacious and warm with lots of amenities! We'll be happy to go back!

We were a group of friends on a ski holiday and loved our time in Champagny en Vanoise in Sabrina’s chalet. The chalet has a beautiful rustic exterior, but is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences you would expect like washing machine, dishwasher and open plan kitchen. The ski lift is a 10 minute walk or there is a free shuttle bus making the location ideal. We’d definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again

It's always a great pleasure to come back to Le Barillon and meet in Alain and Ginette's beautiful chalet, surrounded by beautiful mountains and beautiful forests. Alain and Ginette are great hosts, super nice, friendly as usual.

The mazot created by Beatrice and Max is a great success! All the details of the recycled wood construction and the interior layout with reuse and hunting, elegantly combine rusticity and modernity. Everything is smartly thought out, which has a lot more for us. In addition, the elevated location with a breathtaking view of Beaufort, the proximity (by car for us) to the three resorts (arêches, the seizures and the contamines) allows various activities and for all levels in winter. We loved feeling “at home” for a week of total disconnection. Max and Beatrice are both very discreet and attentive. We'll be back, that's a promise!!

Diane and her husband are extremely kind. Our arrival was very late because of the traffic jams and they troubleshooted us at the last minute for dinner!! Description of the accommodation very faithful, perfect for hosting a couple with their children (we had 3). Small coffee leaving on the last day by chatting. Perfect stay!

Friendly and responsive hosts. Lovely accommodation, great views from the living area over the mountains. 17mins by car to Bourg Saint Maurice to access the slopes at 1600. Would recommend and stay again. Please make sure you read or google translate any French that doesn’t translate, we completely missed that we didn’t have bedding and towels included. Not hosts fault, just wasn’t translated.

Christophe was great, communicating regularly with us and making our travel seamless. The chalet was perfectly situated for restaurants. We proffered using lockers in the Alpine lifts as we have little kids and found it a bit far to walk in boots but otherwise the basement is great for ski storage. The shared family area was homely, warm and well equipped. The rooms and bathrooms are snug but comfortable and Christophe has utilised storage space really well. The photos are spot on.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Helle and Guy’s beautiful house. We travelled as two family’s of three and it was perfect. We were skiing in Courchevel and after a long day with kids coming home to Saint Bon via the free bus service was very easy. The hot powerful shower was just what was needed for all. We made use of a ski locker which made all the difference with not having to lug ski gear back to the house and on the bus. I would recommend this to anyone who is skiing. It also means there is no wet ski gear in the house that required drying each night. The house felt like home from the minute we arrived, it had everything you could need. The beds were all very comfy! The local village was quiet and the all the locals we met were very polite and happy to chat. There is a small shop just a few minutes walk from the house which was our morning bread stop. The shop stocked all the basics but for wider options Bozel was just a few miles away.
