Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pastena, Salerno

We spent 4 nights/5 days at San Valentino Torio. The property is very close to the train station and there are some great restaurants and gelatiera walkable distance to the apartment. The rooms are large and spacious with all that you need on your holiday. Definitely, a home away from home! We hired a car and visited Pompeii, Positano, Amalfi, Naples, Solerno and took a ferry from Solerno to Sorrento. There is a ferry stop at Capri too. O’Mericano was our favourite place to eat. The father and son duo, who run the restaurant, went out of the way to make dishes that were not on the menu! We are looking forward to returning to this place again soon.

We had the most amazing stay. Giovanni communicated promptly with us before we arrived, booked transport for us coming and going . He was very friendly, greeted us on arrival, helped to carry our suitcases up the many steps and explained where all the best spots are for swimming etc. This place was just amazing. The view from the main bedroom and the jacuzzi on the balcony with the most spectacular view. We cooked our own dinners most nights and the kitchen and grocery shops had everything we needed to make delicious meals. I wish we can return to this place again.

It is hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here. First of all, Gabriella is a FANTASTIC host. From the moment we started communicating she was so helpful, booking activities for us and arranging for taxis with drivers who were so friendly. And her father, Giuseppe, was so warm and welcoming as well. The home was absolutely spotless, had so many amenities, and Gabriella provided so many thoughtful and nice touches that made us feel so well loved and cared for. They truly felt like family. We were here celebrating two 25th anniversaries between our two families, as well as the graduation of our children from high school. We could not have picked a more beautiful and special place. Two of our outings - a boat tour to Capri that started and ended in Amalfi and hiking the Path of the Gods, finishing in Positano - made us feel even better about our choice of where to stay. Those other two cities were packed, but Furore was so peaceful. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Fui tudo maravilhoso, Serena é uma excelente anfitriã, nos recebeu muito bem e sempre estava pronta para nos auxiliar. Nos direcionou sempre que solicitamos. Quanto ao espaço é simplesmente maravilhoso, uma das vistas mais lindas que já vi. Com certeza voltaria !

This apt was in a great location for us as we had never been to the Amalfi coast. Praiano is a quiet and relaxing town with some good places to eat that are walkable with very nice food. However, being still in a touristy area, the value is much pricier than most other spots we had come from. Also be prepared to walk a lot up and down many steps, so pack lightly if possible. We had a car but didn’t want to use it, since the roads are crazy too in the whole area. But the apt is beautiful and very comfortable, with a wonderful patio overlooking the water and with the charming pool to enjoy if it’s hot temps. We did not cook at all, but made simple breakfasts with a little market close by to get provisions. Roberto communicated so well with videos and descriptions how to check in and get to the little town shops and restaurants. This area is stunning of course but be prepared to walk a lot. We are so happy to have found this place and felt like locals in a sense.

Es ist ein wirklich schöner Ort zum entspannen. Wir sind jeden Morgen mit einer tollen Energie und einem wunderschönen Ausblick aufgewacht. Enzo, Roberto und Daniela waren sehr herzlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zitronen sind der Hammer und generell ist es eine großartige Gegend zum erkunden. Und wenn wir mal keine Lust hatten auf Abenteuer zu gehen, gab es immer die Familien-Pizzeria ein paar Schritte entfernt die sehr zu empfehlen ist :)

This is an amazing place to stay for your next visit to Sorrento. Prego! You have beautiful views of the sea, a lot of room for your family, and you will be walking distance to anything! Don't look anywhere else. Book this place and you will thank me later!

Elena and Vittorio’s apartment was lovely. The location was great - just outside of the tourist-heavy areas but close enough to walk to everything. Communication was great and check-in/out was easy. Thank you!

From the moment we booked, Francescopaolo was in touch asking if we needed him to arrange ANYTHING prior to our arrival. He sent so much informative information and this was so helpful when deciding where to go and what to do. He is a wonderful man and will help you with anything you need. The location is perfect to get to the ferry that will take you to the other islands. The home is very secure and private. Luckily, there is an elevator for your luggage so you do not need to bring it up and down the stairs. The bathrooms are a little small however, this is to be expected in a home that was built over 700 years ago. The view from this home is absolutely breathtaking. The beauty of the terrace is exactly as it is pictured. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful terraces in Minori. Thank you francescopaolo for sharing your beautiful home. I look forward to returning in the future.

Très bel appartement prêt de plusieurs bon restos à pied et dépanneurs. Très tranquille avec une belle terrasse sous les citronniers! Beau décor et paisible. Si vous décidez de faire le chemin montant les marches pour Ravello armé vous de bonne jambes et bons genoux car cela ne finit plus de monter et l’on doit penser par la suite à redescendre ! L’exercice d’une vie !

Book this home! Amazing hospitality and home! Greeted by Enzo and Saverio’s parents, who provided homemade wine, fresh fruit, and homemade pie! We arrived late in the evening after a delayed flight and, to our surprise, Saverio’s mother made us a homemade pizza. The airline lost my mother’s luggage and Saverio’s mother also gave her clothes to borrow! His father even drove us to the market the next morning. Home was large, incredibly clean, comfortable, and very-well stocked, including detergents, shampoo, spices, coffee, etc. Fantastic location. No car, so Saverio booked us a private transfer to Amalfi 25 mins(€10 per person) on Sunday and took the Furore bus and ferry to Positano 1 hour (€3pp local bus to Amalfi plus €10pp 25 min ferry), which was a nice ride. You could also take the regular bus. Yes, lots of stairs, but it is pleasant if you take your time and try to enjoy it along the way. Private boat charter with Saverio’s fleet is a must - Manuel was a wonderful captain. Book

this is THE best airbnb you will find in cetara or even on the amalfi coast. Mario walked us from the ferry port to the house and walked us through his home explaining everything we needed to know. The pictures of the view do not do it justice, it is exceptional! everything was clean and tidy with lots of towels for the beach,chairs to sit outside, and even a beach umbrella! you’re a short walk from three beaches, beautiful restaurants and shops. 100000/10! we will be returning!!!

처음가본 아말피, 사진만 보고 선택하게 되었는데 걱정할 필요가 없었습니다. 사진보다 아름다운 테라스와 풍경. 그 옆에있는 호텔들이 같은뷰에 1000유로씩 이었는데 그보다 아름다운 장소를 갈 수 있었습니다! 첫 한국인이었다는 말에 이쁘게 방명록 남기고 왔구요 일단 테라스가 미쳤습니다 🤣 근데 동네에 모기가 많으니까 조심하세요!

Anna and Gaetano’s place is an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the chaos that is the Amalfi Coast. Such a warm welcome from Anna, great instructions how to reach them and even picked us up from the bus. Apartment super clean and well appointed with everything that you might need, and the most beautiful garden and patio to relax in. Lovely area, with all amenities and regular buses, but great to be away from the madness of Amalfi! Special thank you to Anna for her warmth and advice, and all the little touches in the apartment to make us feel super welcome and make our stay so great. 😀

Marco is an amazing host. He was checking on us constantly and ensured we had a great stay. The apartment was close to everything in Salerno, including the port to take the ferry to Amalfi / positano / capri. The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed

Would highly highly recommend staying here to anyone panning to visit Sorrento. The host Mario, along with his family Arrianna & Max are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. It definitely felt like "home away from home" for us. They really made us feel like part of their family, and went out their way to assist us in every aspect of our stay, like providing transfers to and from the accommodation, helping with local recommendations and showing us the best walking routes to and from the accommodation. They were super responsive when we asked questions and gave us a unique experience we would have never experienced in a regular hotel. The apartment was clean, spacious and had its own balcony. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of cooking facilities, and the view from the Terrace was beautiful. I would also recommend doing the lemon tour, it was so interesting to learn about how they made limoncello from their own gardens. We are already looking at booking our next stay here ?

Alessandra’s villa is gorgeous! The view was phenomenal and the place very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend. Love to come back sometime. There is obviously lots of stairs to go anywhere in the area so might want to consider that when booking. Thank you Alessandra!

El departamento era tal cual se anunciaba en la web, y el edificio era muy tranquilo. Estaba ubicado un poco alejado del centro pero cerca de la estación de trenes, de todas maneras la ciudad es pequeña y está todo relativamente a mano. Luiselle siempre estuvo en contacto y fue una anfitriona muy atenta, brindándonos recomendaciones y ayuda cuando lo necesitamos.

Tolle, originelle Unterkunft. Ein tiny house über den Dächer im Herzen von Napoli. Wir sind begeistert, Ruhe & Frieden, ein privater Rückzugsort mitten im Trubel der Stadt. Tolle Aussicht, tolle Sonnenuntergänge, mitten im lebhaftesten Quartier von Napoli, der Hafen, das centro storico, Shoppingmeile und unzählige Restaurants in Gehdistanz. Wir sind begeistert.

We stayed at Serafina's apartment for our honeymoon on the Amalfi coast with our four year old and were blown away by the beauty and character within. Torca is such a sweet, beautiful village with an incredible local restaurant and Sant'Aagata a 15min walk away with lots of amazing bars and eateries. The hosts could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful and must have put so much love and passion into this home, which has incredible views. They really went above and beyond for us and provided such a family feel. Could not recommend more, we were very sad to leave.

We loved our stay in this beautiful villa which was lovely and clean and well stocked with all the equipment we could possibly need. on arrival we were welcomed with freshly made pasta sauce, pasta, wine and a bowl of lemons from the garden.. We particularly loved the outside space with spectacular views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The villa was well located for our day trips to Pompeii, Capri, Positano and Amalfi. The owners were very helpful when we needed them eg helping to navigate the hire cars up the steep lane to the villa. We would love to come back again sometime

Elena's home was hands down the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. Perfect for two couples, we relaxed, took in the views, and enjoyed the local culture. Elena and her sister (and whole family) were so helpful getting around as well.
