Secluded cabin on Skrim

Cozy little cabin on Skrim north. The cabin is remotely located and superbly located on the hill above Dinnerslia. The area is known for its good trail conditions and great hiking terrain both summer and winter. With a late hour drive from all Vestfold towns and Sandvika, there is a short drive to the mountain. There is electricity, but otherwise simple standard with snurredo and picking up water from the faucet in the neighboring cabin. There is a fridge and gas stove. There are three bedrooms A double bed, otherwise there are bunk beds. Please bring linens.

Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

The cabin is located close to drive up ski slopes, fantastic hiking terrain and lots of great fishing waters nearby. High and freely located with sun from morning to evening, and great views. The cabin is located in a quiet pathway, with no through traffic of any kind.

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!
