We had a wonderful stay at this remote Airbnb. The location was peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property was impeccably clean, and the charming decor added to the overall cozy atmosphere. What truly made this stay special was the host. They were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, offering valuable local tips and ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their hospitality truly made a difference. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway with a fantastic host. We can't wait to return!

Valia was the intermediary. She arranged a contract. We had trouble finding the accommodation after we entered the codes ourselves on google maps. The hostess Amalia was very helpful to get us on the right route. Amalia had provided a welcome pack and during stay, surprises such as own baking or grapes. Very nice The apartment/house is beautifully located. The pool is nice to cool off. The shade area outside is cozy and the beautiful plants give beautiful atmosphere. Very quiet and quiet, in secluded village. Car is needed. We enjoyed the tranquility and surroundings.

We are now back home and have reflected on the time a bit. From check-in to check-out, just amazing. We felt right at home. Traditional food was regularly placed in front of the door by the family. At the beginning, we were also surprised by this. We had a great rental car and drove around the area a bit. The place is perfect for that. Approximately 1 hour from Heraklion Airport and everything else accessible. Would we book again and again.

Great spot as a base for exploring the area, right on the edge of the small village Melidoni. It was a bit of an adventure finding the place as the online map sent me to the other side of the village, but a couple of very friendly villagers know Antonis and got him immediately on the phone to let him know I'm on my way (after making me a Greek coffee and feeding me sweets). The place itself is very quiet with a fun layout and great views from every aspect. Coffee on the balcony looking at the mountains covered in snow. Comfortable bed, hot shower. Antonis very helpful with suggestions for exploring, and attentive to anything I might need or want. Fantastic Cretan experience :)
