Private suite vacation rentals in Parksville

The hosts were kind and communicative (despite my anxious dog not making a great first impression!). The hosts provided a fenced in 'back yard' area at the entrance to the suite, which made for many sunny hours lounging in the sun after a walk to the river at the back of the property. The interior of the suite is quite basic and not the most private (I believe their office is on the other side of the door in the living room area and not sound-proofed), and you must be sure to keep your food secured as there are a lot of ants in the suite/kitchen - but what the suite itself lacks is made up for by the sprawling green expanse of the farm and surrounding wildlife. The alpacas were curious and friendly, and my dog enjoyed watching the neighbour's geese down the road. Overall I think my dog enjoyed the property even more than the beaches we visited while in town. Thanks again for the stay! I would visit again just to sit at the river and bask in the forest.

We had an absolutely great stay! Eva was super helpful and kind. She gave us a ton of local recommendations for the pups and us. The space was cozy and met all our needs! Would definitely stay again!

June was easy to communicate with and generously gave us the amenities and space we needed to easily enjoy our stay. We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings.

Lovely views and welcoming suite when we arrived.

We felt right at home. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The hottub was such a nice way to finish off the day. The beach is just a block away. We thouroghly enjoyed out stay.

Our stay was truly special. The location is perfect—with unobstructed views of the ocean, and the soothing sounds of sea lions and birds in the background. The home is thoughtfully designed, and we had everything we needed to cook and feel at home. The bench with that view felt like a dream, the hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and the outdoor fireplace was the cherry on top. Bree was warm, welcoming, and very kind. We’d love to return!

This was a perfect place to spend the night before embarking on the Frances Barkley. We were in a quiet neighbourhood about 10 minutes away from the harbour. The home was clean and inviting, the beds and linens comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our supper. Sitting on the deck in the evening was a lovely bonus. Really cozy & beautifully done! Bed was soft and comfy and the neighborhood was quiet but still walkable to restaurants and shops. Courtney was super friendly and responsive. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful, charming, and a very cozy place! The location was perfect -peaceful and away from busy-ness but still very easy to get to the main strip. The place was spotless, comfy, and communication from the hosts was great. I accidentally left my raincoat and they very kindly offered to mail it to me :) Hope to stay here again.

We found the place clean, bright and well organized. The bedrooms were separated from each other and in a quiet location. The entrance was street level and parking was in driveway and/or on boulevard in front of house. Kitchen was well equipped and big windows for a brighter feel so you don’t feel like you’re in a basement at all! The bike storage was secure and large and held our 5 bikes easily. Hose for rinsing off bikes was handy after riding on muddy trail. The only thing was the queen bed was a little firmer than we like so we solved it with putting a memory foam topper on it and it was perfect but we know that we always bring the topper as we like our bed on the softer side. The location has easy access to the Cumberland trails and walkable to Main Street to cafe and restaurants, the town has a really nice vibe! We would not hesitate to come back to stay here and it’s easy access to Campbell River which has more beautiful flowy trails and the Fish & chips at Dicks were great!

What a beautiful Place! It looks exactly like the photos - waterfront, lots of big windows, feels like you are on a boat! The suite is very clean, modern, great shower, comfy bed, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its quiet and tucked away, but very close to the charming town of Chemainus. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway with a view, nature, yet handy to shops, restaurants and walking trails. I didn't use the hot tub, but appreciated the cozy robe provided. Angela is super nice, helpful, and you get a friendly greeting from Pip the dog. Loved my stay there!

Claudie and Taryn are great hosts , no need to hesitate here , I’m a traveling contractor so I’ve been in my fair share of places , you don’t feel like your living in someone else’s home here , private , clean and comfortable, good communication and great price , best in the area 👌

Peters place was impeccably clean and a very quality stay. He has many excellent recommendations in an informative booklet, check in and check out was easy, using dishes and cleaning them was extremely easy with the dishwasher, and the cherry on top was the gorgeous shower and bedding in the master bedroom. If you want to stay in a shiny clean, high end built bnb, I highly recommend booking the sunny side of the suite.

I had the pleasure to stay with Kalvin and Tabitha for a few times this year. The suite is clean and spacious, and the host family is very friendly and welcoming. They have some little ones and they are very quiet. The instruction is clear and easy to follow. Kalvin and Tabitha are easy to communicate and very responsive. So if you are visiting Nanaimo, make sure to stay with this awesome family.

Don was very friendly and helpful. I was attending an event and needed some lanyard badges but didn’t have enough and he saved the day by providing me with all the ones that he had for his business. He was very responsive to all my questions and needs and always answered the door with a big smile. The place was very quiet and the neighbourhood peaceful. The only reason I didn’t rate the check-in as 5 stars is because for some reason I didn’t get the check-in instructions. He wasn’t home but I called and left a message and he called back as soon as he was available. In the meantime, I got to take a walk along the beautiful waterfront of historic Nanaimo, so it all worked out well. Overall it was a 5 star experience.
