An amazing place. We had both Shepherd's Place and Black River and could not have asked for more. Plenty of space and private bath for each bedroom was just awesome! Watched the eclipse outside and the privacy was incredible. No crowds! Thank you to our incredible host!

I've made many trips down there to camp and float since I was little. I needed somewhere less primitive to stay this time since I was visiting for a wedding. This was perfect! Stacy gave clear instructions on how to get inside before I arrived. The place was very clean and well kept. Bonus points for being so close to the river! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful apartment! Very comfortable bed, great linens. The amenities throughout the apartment were wonderful. We had terrible phone reception in St. Genevieve but the WiFi was strong and the Roku tvs were great for a wind down before bed. It’s in a very walkable position with restaurants and shops close by. We will definitely check if it’s available when we are in St. Genevieve again.

Kevin and Ashley were so nice and made themselves very accessible. I was in town for my son's wedding and I need an ample kitchen to prepare food for the reception. This is one of the main reasons I chose this property and it did not disappoint. It was everything that the pictures and descriptions indicate. The bed was roomy and comfortable. I highly recommend the property.

We had a great one-night stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly and informative, providing helpful details that made everything smooth and stress-free. They made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The space was clean, cozy, and perfect for our short stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we're in the area!
