Trudi is a great host. Very responsive and instructions and communication was clear and friendly and very accomodating. We loved staying at this beach house. It works really well for two couples with the two big bedrooms and a bathroom in each. Trudi has provided everything you need and more. The house was nice and warm on the cold windy days and it was easy to live in. Being right across the road from the beach was a massive bonus. We loved our stay here and will be back. Thanks Trudi

Great wee spot to stay, comfy and quiet location

A lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, clean, and the view is just magic. The continental breakfast was very generous and the home made biscuits amazing. The hosts were very accommodating and allowing us early entry to put food into the fridge was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I stayed a few days after selling my home around the bays. I enjoyed my stay, relaxing after a stressful period... Warm hosts, warm rooms, great shower. And only a short walk to the beach.

Had a really lovely stay here. Very responsive and flexible regarding arrival, making sure we could check in when we wanted but also checking up shortly after to make sure we had an opportunity to ask questions and settle in. Was responsive throughout the stay when we needed it, proactively checking in and making sure everything was okay, but also giving us loads of privacy and not feeling overbearing or unable to come and go and do our own thing. Friendly and helpful at all times, very responsive and made the whole experience stress free.

Came back to stay at the place for a second time… Beautiful surroundings, great interior, super friendly and supportive hosts. Equipped with everything you need. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxed space to unwind, this is it. Wellington’s beautiful south coast is right out the front door. One of the best Airbnb stays I had. Not a spare room that was turned into a guest bedroom or a company managed apartment, but a well crafted, private and self-sufficient little studio with great design which is run by a cool and welcoming family. Would book it again anytime.

Very comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. Easy walk to the local shops for food or takeaways, or to the bus stop into central Wellington.

Will definitely book the same accommodation when I come back to Welly. Place is amazing, clean, what you see is what you get. Worth the pay. Got the privacy. Peace and quiet. James and Nadine always communicates and gives proper instructions.

Our second stay, was lovely and warm as gets all day sun. The addition of an induction cook top was great. Love the location and views. You can’t beat a winter sunset in Otaki! Our first evening/next day was very windy and the windows got covered in salt spray but there is a hose on the deck so was easy to rinse the windows and have the beautiful view restored in no time.

Another great stay for us, very convenient with family nearby. Several evening and daytime meal options nearby, frequent buses on a direct route into town, lots of walking trails nearby.

All good! Nice place to stay, short walks to the cafes around. You might want to take extra note if you drive as the nearest parking would be on the streets and only free after 8pm. Not a deal breaker but good to note. Thank you for the clean and nice place, I love the theme of the place!

lens place was an oasis in the city. a great studio surrounded by bush (and birds) walking distance to the supermarket and train station. thanks Len!

Great stay has all the necessary amenities an individual would desire. Aga and Dawid were super helpful and kind. Also appreciate the chocolate bars left for us. We needed them after a long day of adventuring. Great stay would come again.

Amazing place, so beautiful and peaceful. You wake up to the sound of the sea and the views and walks are fantastic. The place is beautifully decorated with a great bath and everything you'd possibly need. Elsie and Johan went above and beyond and couldn't have been kinder. Highly recommend.

Scott and Laura's place is spacious, comfortable, and convenient. The space is airy, private, and furnished with a nice balance of taste and practicality. Very well set up kitchen with plenty of storage space, good sized fridge-freezer, dishwasher drawer, and cooking. The appliances, including the washer-dryer, are modern and easy to use. Modern bathroom with underfloor heating - a lovely treat in cooler months! - and comfortable bedroom with ample space for clothes storage. Also off-road parking right by the door if you have a car. Very convenient location close to the Khandallah shops, with cafes and supermarket. And close to public transport for trips into the Wellington CBD. I'm very happy to recommend Scott and Laura's place, and hope to stay there again!

It was nice to have Janet & Ian meet us on arrival. The unit is a cosy self contained and private section in the downstairs area of their home. Very comfortable bed. Having off-street parking is a bonus.

Rico's place was a very well-appointed apartment, separate from the main house with private access. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities one could require. We weren't there long enough to take full advantage but will definitely keep Rico's place in mind for future visits to Wellington.

Nice stay, very peaceful and very private which was exactly what I was after. Lovely views and good public transport access. A bit tricky to figure out some of the appliances and the rangehood/bathroom fan noises were a sensory nightmare, but that's not unusual. Otherwise straightforward and great communication.

This is an ideal location for a nature lover and birder. Super conveniently located near Zealandia and Otari-Wilton's Bush, two superb locations for getting outdoors in Wellington. Even if you are a committed birder, it is pretty cool to see the local parrots stop by outside the window. The place is comfortable and well-equipped, and walking distance or an easy drive to a number of superb restaurants. I highly recommend Trevor's peaceful sanctuary!
