Lovely relaxing spot! Right next to lovely walking/running/cycle trail and surrounded by quiet neighbours with a huge backyard. Great value for money!

A lovely town with a coastal and nature-filled vibe — very family-friendly. The host was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is well-organized and comfortable for a family stay, including two bicycles available for guests to use. There are cute cafés around with a laid-back, holiday atmosphere.

Andreas place was amazing. My Mum and her friends had a lovely time. It was peaceful and quiet, stunning location, classic kiwi bach. Lovely little details, and extras. Andrea was responsive and helpful. Thanks, we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay, surrounded by a beautiful garden and at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bakery. Neighboring a reserve at the back was a bonus, so we had more space to play ball games. It was a great place to rest and relax, indoor or outdoor. Board games available to play when it rained. One thing to note is that the bedroom upstairs, although private, it doesn't have a door to block any noise from downstairs. It is a cute cottage with lots of space for everybody.

We had a great stay at Ngaire’s place. A nice little cottage with great views and had everything we needed. Also enjoyed the coffee shop across the road. Ngaire was a lovely host and very helpful ☺️

We stayed for a week and absolutely loved our time here. It really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed and Kate was quick to respond to any questions. Loved all of the birdlife and the walks to cable car and botanical gardens. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Wellington.

beautiful house, with garden and being very private with the front fence, entry by gate... we were in Naenae for a funeral, really appreciated to have the space to reflect and prepare ourselves for our last days with our sister/aunty/Nana.. Thankyou so Barbara for letting stay at St James..

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Melleny's place is a great house for great family holidays and friends gatherings. Melleny is very friendly and gave use very useful instructions and advise about the house. The house is great with lots of space inside and outside, a well maintained swimming pool and a nice garage with tennis table, darts and fussball. We spent the new year there with friends and had a great time! The house is not far from Martinborough, Greytown, Feathertown, and lots of nature spots to explore. It was great to go see the sea lion colony down at Cape Pallister (1h drive). We hope to come back for future summer holidays!

Right from the start we had good communications and a friendly welcome. Beautiful position and views and quiet and tranquil. Was a restful and peaceful 4 days. We were welcomed by Donna as we drove up to the house and she walked us to our rooms and explained everything to us showing us around the flat. There was fresh milk in the fridge along with chocolates and fruit from the garden. Dean was friendly and helpful, and we had several long conversations over the weekend about the property and the Kapiti Coast in general. The purpose of our stay was to relax but also visit the area with a view to moving to the Kapiti area, all our expectations were fulfilled, friendly people, lovely beaches and scenery and great weather. Ideal place for us to spend the weekend with our pooch. The place was clean and tidy. I am not sure how the location would work if we didn't have a car but we did, so we had no problem with it. Overall, we're very happy with this place and will look for it when we return to Wellington.

We had a lovely stay, the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room, comfy chairs, amazing big deck and sunroom, awesome big backyard, the gas fire heated the house really quickly, and so lovely to have our dog welcome. Close to the beach and great food places nearby. Thanks so much.

A fabulous location close to city ferry, beaches and bush walks. Also easy walks to cafes and shops. We loved the privacy, the fenced courtyard so our dog was safe and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the washing machine as we were there for a more extended stay, everything we needed to make simple meals, and space to work as well as relax. We highly recommend and will be back ourselves!

Stayed for our Weta visit and was a very convenient spot. Close to the airport, several cafes, and weta all just a few minutes walk. Very pleasant reception as well, kind and willing to help out with anything we needed, and flexible as well. Thank you!

Clean and cosy with plenty of heaters/heat pumps. 5 mins drive from our event at Upper Hutt City Council hall and Carlos responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great location for us to stay, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place. We would stay again.
