This lady is an amazing soul, we felt very welcomed by her and her husband. Also really Amazing views I took my girlfriends with me and it honestly felt like a sleep over with the way it was set up . We all had so much fun and could all see each other and talk to one another before heading off too bed 😊 she even offered to help us when needed which cherry didn’t have too but we are very appreciative that she did. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will go back again one day. Thanks cherry for being a great host ❤️

It’s our second time staying at Garry’s place and the only difference is that there are even more little extras than last time! The attention to detail, thoughtfulness and quality of the home is incredible and the beach is just over the fence- we couldn’t ask for more and highly recommend this little spot of paradise for a lovely break. Ideal for one or two couples, with two ensuites and a large living area and of course some great shopping and eateries within walking distance. Thank you once again, we will be back!!

Cindy's whare was the perfect place to host a house of kaumātua. It was clean, pristine, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We were thankful for the neighbours too as they reminded us about rubbish/recycling day in and amongst a busy film festival schedule. A beautiful spot.

We loved staying at Ariki View. The house is absolute beachfront with an uninterrupted view out to Te Waipounamu and Kapiti Island. The house itself had everything needed for a relaxing weekend. It was hard to leave! Penny and Bas were very friendly and helpful.

We loved the location and the view from the deck is really very special. We so enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach. The bach has everything you need for a short stay, the bed & sofas are comfortable and the mini kitchen is well equiped for its size and there is an excellent BBQ. You can walk to Four Square for basics and/or a couple of cafes for coffee or lunch. We were appreciative of the milk, coffee, tea and biscuits.

Despite not crossing paths with Rachel & Steve, they were the best hosts keeping in close contact, but at the same time enabling our privacy. They Bach is perfectly located and provided all we could desire with breathtaking views. It was so simple to book and we felt so welcome. Super special to understand the history (no spoilers) & association with Sheila Natusch too. Highly recommend Ōwhiro Bay as a beautiful place to further explore Wellington.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Susan is a great host, it’s been our third stay at her property and we loved it! She was very flexible in our check-in and waited for us until we arrived from the ferry before midnight! We greatly appreciated it! The place is very clean, spacious and private, too. We would like to come back and certainly can recommend her place!

I had a marvelous stay at the Seaview house of Dreenagh and Kevin. Working in the industrial area it was a 5 minutes drive to work. It was always a great "coming home" in the afternoon. Nice restaurants are near, towards Eastbourne-Days Bay as well as in (the direction of) Petone. Free time: the trails behind the house in the fern woods are perfect for a hike or run. The house is equipped with all the requisites: a full-option kitchen, washing machine, WIFI. I hope to be back at Point Howard during my next stay!

we have stayed here a few times, so we feel right at home in this lovely comfortable home. It has everything you need, good quality linen, towels etc. We enjoy having a coffee machine available too. It's on the bus route so is easy to get into town without having to use your car and look for parking. There are excellent cafes in walking distance and of course the beach is just down the road. We will always stay here if it's available.
