Vacation rentals in Paralia Milopotamos

We stayed with my partner for a week in the beginning of Sep 2024. The guest houses are part of an extended villa with a lovely swimming pool with fresh water coming directly from a nearby stream. The place is spotless and the gardens are exceptionally well kept. We had a great time sitting at the garden enjoying the amazing views across the Aegean sea. Both Maria (housekeeper) and George (owner) are lovely friendly people. George also provided us with helpful information regarding restaurants, cafes and places of interest. Spot on suggestions! George is a very communicative and attenuative host and we were lucky to have stayed at his accommodation. All and all, George is a true Gentleman. We spent a lovely time on the mountain of the mythical Centaurus and we couldn't ask for more from our accommodation. Clean, good water flow, fresh linen, comfy beds and a beautiful little balcony where we sat on our evenings listening to crickets, owls, and the sounds of the night. Def coming back!

Great place! The beach is very quiet and during the week days in June it was basically private for us. The view is amazing. The location is a bit remote, and although the hosts were very kind to not leave us starving, be prepared with your groceries. The closest shop is 20 minutes away by car. The sea has amazing blue water. If you seek a bit of “get away from people” this is a definite go-to place. If you expect life, cities and beaches full with people and bars - don’t bother.

The house and the surroundings are simply amazing. The small house is in a very peaceful, quiet area. The yard is filled with flowers and greenery - and the silence is awesome, you can hear yourself think. It helped getting disconnected from the daily life, which is exactly what we wanted for this holiday. A perfect place to recharge. I would recommend it to anyone, it feels like paradise! Also you are in luck with a host like Marina - she is nice, kind and very thoughtful. She helped us with instructions, she even took a short hike with us, she surprised us with homecooked bread and event pancakes one morning. Will come back for sure, 8 days wasn't enough!! Das Haus auf dem Berg ist ein Traum. Die Lage ist einsam, uneinsehbar und wunderschön. Die Betten waren gut (es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, die wir genutzt haben und noch etliche Betten auf der offenen Galerie). Es ist ein voll ausgestattetes Duschbad vorhanden. Zudem ein WC mit Brause und eine schöne Außendusche. Ausstattung und Einrichtung sind eher bodenständig als luxuriös. Der Luxus ist hier durch die Lage, Ausblick und die großzügige Freifläche gegeben. Das Klima war für August sehr angenehm (nachts schön abgekühlt, tags leichter Wind). Der Weg zum Strand ist sehr steil aber mit einem gewöhnlichen PKW und etwas Mut (oder mit etwas Puste zu Fuß) gut zu machen. Wer -wie wir- Exklusivität aufgrund von Aussicht und Abgeschiedenheit schätzt wird den Preis für angemessen halten. Apostolis und Maria waren reizend nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber und haben sich jederzeit toll gekümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen in jedem Fall sehr gerne wieder!!

Ένας επίγειος παράδεισος στην καρδιά του Πηλίου! Η βίλα είναι πραγματικά ξεχωριστή — ένας συνδυασμός πολυτέλειας, παραδοσιακής αρχοντιάς και απόλυτης ηρεμίας μέσα στη φύση. Βρίσκεται σε μαγευτική τοποθεσία, κυριολεκτικά μέσα στο δάσος, με θέα στο Αιγαίο και σε απόσταση αναπνοής από την παραλία του Μυλοπόταμου. Το σπίτι είναι πλήρως ανακαινισμένο με σεβασμό στην ιστορία του, γεμάτο με αυθεντικά έπιπλα εποχής και σπάνιες διακοσμητικές λεπτομέρειες που μαρτυρούν αγάπη και φροντίδα. Η καθαριότητα ήταν άψογη και οι παροχές ξεπέρασαν κάθε προσδοκία: από την καλοσχεδιασμένη κουζίνα, μέχρι το υδρομασάζ στο πίσω μέρος του κήπου που μας πρόσφερε στιγμές απόλυτης χαλάρωσης. Η φιλοξενία της Ελένης και της ομάδας της ήταν ζεστή, διακριτική και ουσιαστική. Νιώσαμε πραγματικά καλεσμένοι και όχι απλώς ενοικιαστές. Μας καθοδήγησαν για κάθε τι που άξιζε να δούμε ή να δοκιμάσουμε στην περιοχή. Ελπίζουμε να επιστρέψουμε σύντομα!

Pelion is a wonderful area, but the access to the east side is not easy due to the high altitude differences (serpentine and narrow roads). The disadvantage is also an advantage, as there is no congestion and a very friendly and peaceful environment, with unique natural beauty. The apartment is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, extreme terrace with a wonderful view. The apartment has direct access to the beach (this means a private beach in a small cove - but you have to get used to the steps.) The charming local tavernas are within easy reach of the apartment and are located next to beautiful beaches. The host Kostas is very friendly, hospitable, quickly available, flexible, and helpful.

The host was very friendly, and helped us find a place to eat despite it being the off-season. They were helpful, and the studio room was gorgeous. I definitely recommend this host!
