Vacation rentals in Parada de Gonta

Het was een heel mooi huisje, klein, maar alles was van goed materiaal, fijne douche, mooi ingericht met leuke houtdetails. We sliepen heerlijk met de ramen open en het geluid van het riviertje, verder was het helemaal stil ‘s nachts. Buiten fijne terrassen, heerlijk met onze voeten in het riviertje gezeten, een fantastische omgeving, helemaal vrij uitzicht aan de achterkant van het huis en een lieflijk gehuchtje. We liepen elke dag een half uurtje naar Gois, een mooi dorp met rivier en heerlijke gebakjes bij de paladeria. Wij vonden het heel fijn!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, mit vielen kleinen liebevollen Details und einer geschmackvollen Einrichtung. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die U terkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Außerordentlich ist der Blick durch eine grosse Glasfront aus dem Wohnzimmer auf eine wunderschöne von Bergen umgebene Landschaft. Zum Aussenbereich gehört ein Pool, der mit Bachwasser gefüllt ist, eine Sitzecke vor und hinter dem Haus, alles mit schönem Panorama. Susan ist ausgesprochen freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit.

Estive duas noites na Casa Canela com a minha namorada. Fizemos esta escolha pois queríamos “fugir” ao caos da cidade e procurar um sítio para descansar! Excedeu as nossas expectativas! Lugar super calmo, com todas as comodidades! Cozinha super bem equipada, casa de banho impecável e quarto fenomenal! A limpeza, arrumação e cuidado estava excelente! A piscina super bem tratada tanto como todo o espaço à volta! Mesmo com o Steve a morar no piso de cima, a privacidade foi total! O Steve é fantástico e super disponível! A casa tem todas as condições e comodidades para quem quiser passar uma ou duas semanas! Sem dúvida alguma o melhor sítio onde fiquei! Espero algum dia poder voltar! O lugar é simplesmente perfeito, muita paz, espaço verde, piscina maravilhosa, a casa muito limpa, cheirosa e organizada. Sobre a Isabel e o esposo, pessoas maravilhosas, muito agradáveis e sempre disponíveis. Foi uma estadia impecável, com certeza voltaremos mais vezes!

If you searching a spot that is quiet, with beautiful views, your private area to relax, than this is definitely the right place. The house is lovely and everything is available what is needed. The surrounding on the Quienta is nice to do small walks and the pool has the right size to get a refreshment. Hugh and the others are great hosts, explained well the way to get to the Quinta and answered quickly in case of questions. We would love to come back and enjoy this place again.

Gemütliche und sehr saubere Unterkunft. An der Ausstattung fehlt nichts. Von dem kleinen Ort Santar lassen sich etliche gute Ausflüge machen, so z.B. nach Viseu oder ins Dourotal. Ana und Christiana brachten uns morgens frische Brötchen und frische Beeren aus dem eigenen Garten. Sehr lecker.

My partner and I eloped at Dajas and it was truly made so special by both the location and the people working there. Immediately upon arriving, every team member was welcoming and knowledgeable and made every effort to assist us - no matter how big or small our request. The room was immaculate and the property was even better than the photos. All food served was fresh and made with love. The little shop at the top was stocked full of special Portuguese ingredients and DELICIOUS wine for us to drink throughout our time. We particularly enjoyed the amenities and activities including; hiking, the pool, billiards, the games, wine tasting and more. The two cats that live on the property really made the stay - particularly Kinka who I think about every day. I couldn’t recommend this more highly. I will be back, the combination of people, activities and location were so special and cannot be put into words.
