From here there are good opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming or paddling in nearby fjord water, hiking and biking. Possibility to rent a SUP, kayak and bike. Approx. 20 min by car to Fredrikstad city center and Skjærhalden

The house is located in quiet surroundings and there are many opportunities for hiking in forests and swimming in the sea. The city center of Fredrikstad and the college, is only 20 minutes away by foot. 5 minutes to the free ferry that takes you to the old town or city center. I want all guests to feel welcome and at home. Bathroom in bathtub by agreement.

The apartment is located in a scenic area with a short distance both to the city and the forest. It is a 3 min drive to grocery stores, bakery and pharmacy. (walking distance 15-20 min). At the shopping center there is also a free city ferry to the old town and to the city center. There is easy access to great hiking areas in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. The apartment also has a sunny outdoor area for use. Hosting is available for assistance and guidance. We have English, German and French.

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand pier facility! Bua is a cozy cabin located at Hvalers perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while getting a taste of boating Bua is adjacent to the boat docks to expect to meet people vacationing in their boats. There are on-site swimming facilities with a swimming staircase on the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of nice nature with forest, paths and mountains. The guest bed can be turned out on the floor and is 90x200cm. Choose between an electric inflatable mattress or a camp bed. Kitchen with most of the equipment. Shower cubicle in the bathroom. Large south-facing terrace with pavilion and outdoor furniture. Nice place at a nice price.

Vesterøy, Hvaler

Spacious and nice apartment in a secluded location on Vesterøy on Hvaler. Parking space available. Walking/bike distance to swimming areas and hiking trails. Several beaches with good parking facilities nearby. From the city center on Vesterøy there is a bus both further out towards Skjærhalden and into Fredrikstad. Here you can enjoy the silence with a cup of coffee in the sun, take a walk in the forest, a bath in the sea and explore Hvaler's sights.

Short distance to the city centre, 3 cafes in the immediate vicinity, grocery store on Kråkerøy or in the city centre. Peaceful and nice area. Little traffic. Public parking in the street in marked places, for a fee 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays, until 3 pm on Saturdays and free on public holidays.
