This is an absolute gem of a spot. Loved all the mahi put in to restore this beautiful building and the floor to ceiling vintage vibe. The outdoor bath under the stars on a chill April evening was also a winner.

A very warm and welcoming space with a friendly and communicative host. The view of Ruapehu would have been spectacular if it hadn’t been raining!

Beautiful place, the owner baked us a fresh loaf which was amazing. Really appreciate how friendly the owner was, left us to our own devices after a nice hello. The sculpture garden was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. Perfect in the evening to cozy up and watch something on the smart TV with some Air-Con too. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

We had a lovely stay at Christian's air bnb, easy access and comfy set up inside. Would definitely recommend :)
