Beachfront vacation rentals in Panormos in Rethymno

It was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views from veranda. Gorgeously traditional house. A step away from a lovely beach. It was up a short, steep hill, perfect for us but might not be for everyone.

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

We loved our stay at Anastasio’s! The apartment was clean and just as the photos described. The location was beautiful, overlooking the water and within walkable distance to everything you could need. Anastasio and Fotis were extremely responsive and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in early when we arrived to the city earlier than expected. Thanks for a great stay!

This was the best Airbnb we've stayed at. Lovely village with restaurants, a bakery and markets for most of what you'd need. On arrival the house had been generously stocked with more than we expected. Argiro and her family were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Iro House. Thanks so much Argiro, we will be back!

We spent the most lovely time at Nikos place with our baby and friends. The villa is located directly by the sea with a spectacular view. We enjoyed really enjoyed our breakfasts watching the waves and listening to the ocean so much. The place is very quiet and private. Nikos is the most welcoming host and gave us great directions for the island. We can definitely recommend staying there! Thank you so much for having us.

What a meeting! Jeronimo is so nice, he helped us whenever he could, and made sure our stay went smoothly: it was a very nice meeting 👍 His house on the heights has a bird's-eye view of Souda Beach: it's beautiful. Everything is said, finally the main thing is our favorite part of our vacation.

We had a very nice time. The accommodation is clean, very well equipped and the grounds are also beautiful. The small playground was the highlight of the 3 families who were there with us and our son also had a lot of fun. Manolis is super nice and responds to problems and questions within minutes. His parents live on the property, also speak English and welcomed us warmly and also brought delicious feta pockets one evening. The accommodation is 1 minute's drive from the expansive beach. However, we did not walk with a small child on the street. It didn't bother us any further, but I would like to mention it anyway: The house is located next to a road. Although this is not very busy, you can hear the cars, especially when sitting on the terrace. In the apartment itself, it was no problem.

Paradise! The villa was in pristine condition, super clean light and airy. The space is huge, big enough for a large family but also just right for the 3 of us that stayed. Villa is private and offers a nice homey feel to feel connected to your loved ones while still on vacation where you can prepare meals and enjoy them together outside at the table by the pool. Beach is beautiful and just a few steps away. I enjoyed my stay and will absolutely be back

We really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous villa! We went as a group of 9 friends / family and there was so much space for us all - the bedrooms were super comfortable and each had its own bathroom which were clean and spacious. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a great week in this lovely house with pool. The terrace and garden are great and invite you to relax while the children splash in the pool. The hosts are friendly and attentive.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

This home is absolutely perfect for every type of vacation you want. Close enough to Herikalon for a quick transfer to the airport, winery, dinner or boat cruise.(make sure to connect with Manos for the best transfers and excursions). Yet also tons of good restaurants and coffee, shops, and small markets that allow you to be more casual if you want to. Then you can just stay in the villa use their excellent and clean kitchen and appliances and have one of the best views of Dia available on the island of Crete. The host Georgia is a 11 out of 10. She was kind enough to stock the kitchen so when we arrived, everything was already there for us to not have to leave the villa and totally relax and get over the jet lag. Then she provides ideas and was there every time I had a question (and I had a lot). The pool is perfect and house is new and precise and cools very well. Very good space and more than enough for the six people that it sleeps with having three private bathrooms was a treat

We had the best week here. It’s so peaceful and calm. The villa is stunning with sea views and so many areas to relax and enjoy the sun. It was incredibly well stocked and they left us lots of welcome treats and basics like bread, milk, juice, fruit, cake etc. would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week! The house is as beautiful as in the pictures and exactly matches the description. The two pools were perfect for both the children and us adults and an absolute highlight. The reception by Heike very warm and she even got us some groceries for the first breakfast. Here the guest is in the foreground and nothing is missing :)

A beautifully restored stone building in a great location. You're in the heart of the village and still have privacy. Meeting Pavlina and Johan I now understand the meaning of superhost They are more than exceptional hosts, they are exceptional human beings.

We loved walking down the steps and straight onto the beach for a swim each day. Such a wonderful location. We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully decorated, with high-quality furniture and nothing is really missing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also arranged the transfer from the airport for us and it worked out just fine. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will be happy to think back to the time and come back soon.

5 stars are not enough to give Komissa's. The home is beautiful, historic and unbelievably located. It was not lacking in any amenity and if it was Yvonne was available to provide it. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay was. Yvonne is a fabulous hostess; every recommendation was spot on and she was kind enough to take me to her favorite taverna where we were treated like queens. She goes the extra mile (kilometer) to ensure you have everything you could want or need. She makes sure you see the "real" Crete, not just what the tour books tell you. While the pictures are 100% accurate and completely represent the home, u you cannot see just how centrally located the home is until you are there. And the rooftop! So peaceful and surrounded by so many beautiful plants I cannot wait to come back, now that I've traveled through Greece, i can spend my entire vacation at Yvonne's home. 100 stars all the way and i can't wait to come back to Ag.Pelagia! Very friendly host, clean apartment, everything necessary is available in the kitchen. The apartment has air conditioning and is at the entrance of the town, great if you want to be on the bus quickly. Next to the apartment door, there is a small supermarket and rental car shop. Beach not far away. Bali is a very quiet beautiful yet touristy place. From the apartment to the last bay, you walk half an hour totally OK! Gladly again :-)

We had a great time staying at the place. The apartment was very well equipped, in the kitchen there was everything you need for cooking, there were even children's toys and equipment for the beach. Everything was totally clean and the contact with Efi was very friendly. We very much enjoyed using the garden and also the barbecue there. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend there.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. The ocean views were nice. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and modern amenities, made our stay comfortable. Free parking is a big plus. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and beaches, yet peaceful enough to unwind and relax. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, providing excellent recommendations and assistance. We recommend this apartment. The combination of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and comfortable accommodations made our stay truly special.

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!
