Apartment vacation rentals in Panormos in Rethymno

This was one of the nicest AirBnB apartments I have rented. What was responsive to questions prior to the trip, arranging taxi service from the airport. Even though our flight was two hours late and we didn't arrive until 10 pm she was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Finally, the location on the outskirts of Old Town Rethymno could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend this place!

We were only there for one night but we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Our stay was amazing! The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equipped and above all… the jacuzzi was a real plus! perfect for relaxing after a day of discovery in Crete. A huge thank you to our host, who was exceptionally kind. Always available, responsive and willing to help anytime, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. I recommend it 100%🤩!

Art Deco Suites was really beautiful. Maria is just the best. So helpful. She also put us on to a great car hire company which is absolutely necessary to see as much of the sites as possible on Crete. The local town is a 15 minute walk, but you WILL NEED a car to get to the OLD TOWN and central Chania. The apartments are very clean and well stocked for a comfortable stay. The WIFI is also top quality. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful place, just remember that you will need a car.

We fell in love with this apartment and Manos hospitality five years ago and came back 6 times since then. Already booked the next stay before we left. Firstly Lena made this stay so comfortable and easy, she went above what she needed to and it was so helpful as we were checking in at 1am. The directions were easy and the old town felt super safe to navigate through Secondly the accommodation, I gasped when I walked in, it was so beautiful. The highest ceilings with exposed brick, beautifully clean with water in the fridge, toast, jam, coffee and tea as well as all the usual amenities. Side note - insanely great double glazing to block the noise out! You couldn’t hear anything disturbing (you can hear a bit but nothing extreme, which is crazy as when you open the doors it’s very noisy) Thank you again Lena. For your accommodation as well as the time you took to provide us with instructions, knowing we were arriving so late at night/early in the morning

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

We highly recommend the property. It is clean and well looked after. The location is great within easy walking distance of the centre of the City and all it offers. It is also on one of the main routes round the City which means if you have a car you do not have to deal with narrow, city centre roads. We hired a car and parked in the car part next to the apartment which was really convenient and reasonably priced. The down side to the location is that there is a lot of traffic noise when sitting on the balcony but that is to be expected. Once you shut the doors it is very quiet inside. There is a quiet air-conditioning unit in the bedroom which was great given we had some unseasonably high temperatures while we were there. Manos & Klelia where great at responding to any questions we had, If we were to Heraklion we who try and stay there again.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Great hospitality from Chrysi for my last night in Crete. She even offered me some small specialties for breakfast. Chrysi is extremely kind and the setting of the accommodation is very peaceful and with great views. I recommend

The apartment was very nice with a spectacular view. It was all within walking distance. And the hosts were super friendly and always available.

Christos was a great host – very attentive, helpful, and available at all times. Check-in was straightforward and we felt welcome from the first moment. We were particularly pleased with the little touches such as wine, water and fruits to welcome us. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and offers a fantastic view of the sea from the terrace and balconies. The beach, restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Convenient: Two beach umbrellas were available as well. The property is located on a hillside and is accessible via a few steps – doable for the elderly, but a railing in the lower area would make sense. Overall, we had a very nice and relaxing stay and can only recommend it. Thanks, Christos!

Delighted with our stay! We were hosted very well, with sweet and savory specialties on the table! Sodas and fruit in the fridge. Nothing was missing. A beautiful park with olive trees, orange trees….. with a view of the sea in the distance. A great restaurant right across the street. Very good location for visiting the surroundings. Just plan to use a vehicle for shopping. Recommended

The terrace is great with its seating area and dining table. Sea view. The bathroom is large and the bed is comfortable. A small upgrade in amenities (TV, recent microwave, utensils etc.) would be a plus but it is a very nice place for 2 people. Private parking is appreciated.

We absolutely loved staying here! Initially was hesitant about staying in the city but location is actually pretty calm and the harbor is close enough to walk. The host was very kind and she has gone above and beyond to make this stay comfortable, welcoming and gorgeous.

Large place with two great terraces. The location is very good and very quiet. You can also walk quickly to the old town. The host Manos met me in person and gave me many useful recommendations.

Evangelos has a beautiful home. Exactly as described and very modern. The whirl pool was a highlight and of course the beautiful view from the terrace. The village of Sellia is very peaceful and close to many beaches. It has a small supermarket and great local restaurants. Yangos was especially a very good host. Had lots of local places for restaurants to recommend and also great recommendations for beaches. He was very responsive throughout our trip and had great communication. We were very happy with our stay overall and would like to stay here again someday!

Elena is a nice and accommodating hostess. We were able to contact her at any time, received feedback very quickly and she inquired about our well-being in the accommodation. The place is very clean, well equipped and you have your privacy. It looks exactly like the pictures. The property is very quiet. You need a car to do activities. We can only recommend the place and Elena as a host! ☺️

The space was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We especially loved the large deck—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or dining outdoors. The location is great, with a wonderful bakery and market just a short walk away. You’ll need a car to explore the town and surrounding area, but everything is within a short, easy drive. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, sharing great tips and insights about the area. They also took the time to share aspects of the local culture, which made our stay feel even more special. We were lucky to be in Rethymno over Easter—it was an unforgettable experience!

The place was very nice and as described. Daniela was very warm and helpful. We only lacked a little more cooking equipment, as we occasionally wanted to cook and were then somewhat limited with a pan. Basically, we can highly recommend the apartment and would be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

We had a really nice stay at this place! Very quiet, secluded location with a great private pool, large patio and superbly equipped apartment. Dimitrios was always immediately available and gave us great tips for the area. The nearest town with a beach is within walking distance, a supermarket and taverns are available there. We will be happy to come back! :)
