Beachfront vacation rentals in Panormos in Rethymno

It was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views from veranda. Gorgeously traditional house. A step away from a lovely beach. It was up a short, steep hill, perfect for us but might not be for everyone.

We loved our stay at Anastasio’s! The apartment was clean and just as the photos described. The location was beautiful, overlooking the water and within walkable distance to everything you could need. Anastasio and Fotis were extremely responsive and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in early when we arrived to the city earlier than expected. Thanks for a great stay!

This was the best Airbnb we've stayed at. Lovely village with restaurants, a bakery and markets for most of what you'd need. On arrival the house had been generously stocked with more than we expected. Argiro and her family were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Iro House. Thanks so much Argiro, we will be back!

We spent the most lovely time at Nikos place with our baby and friends. The villa is located directly by the sea with a spectacular view. We enjoyed really enjoyed our breakfasts watching the waves and listening to the ocean so much. The place is very quiet and private. Nikos is the most welcoming host and gave us great directions for the island. We can definitely recommend staying there! Thank you so much for having us.

Jekaterina hat uns sehr herzlich und super flexibel empfangen. Unser Flug hatte abends Verspätung und dann waren unsere Koffer auch noch weg. Sie hat sofort ihre Hilfe angeboten und super schnell auf fragen reagiert. Sie macht das ganze Management rund ums Haus ganz, ganz toll! Das Haus ist genauso wie in der Beschreibung. Eine fantastische Außenanlagen und in 3 min ist man am Strand. Wir bedanken uns recht herzlich bei Jekaterina, dass sie unser Host war und schicken ganz liebe Grüße nach Kreta.

Vielen lieben Dank Vasilis, wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthaltes sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war prima und der Balkon ein echtes Highlight. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Jeronimo ist ein richtig toller Gastgeber. Sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön oberhalb der kleinen Soudabucht mit grandiosem Ausblick. Zwei empfehlenswerte Tavernen sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Auch die Bar von Jeronimo ist toll und nicht zu verachten. Wir können die schöne, einfache aber zweckmäßige Unterkunft auf's Wärmste empfehlen.

Un piso amplio, muy bien decorado, luminoso, con unas vistas preciosas, muy bien situado, el ruido del mar nos acunó por las noches. La terraza preciosa para tomar el desayuno o cenar. Teníamos una plaza para el coche justo al lado del piso, súper práctico. Konstantinos nos respondió muy rápido, muy simpático Una semana perfecta

Fantastic stay. Villa is immaculate and has everything you need. The views are breathtaking and get lovely sunrises and we saw some amazing sunsets too! Comfy beds with black out blinds which makes for a great sleep. Nice bbq area and table tennis was a big hit! Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views. The area has nice cafes and restaurants but didnt feel overly touristy or busy when we were there. Handy supermarket very close by and a nice beach about five minutes down the road. Lovely breakfast and fresh smoothies across the road on the sea front. Location in Greece overall was great, short drive to chania and about an 90 min drive to Elafonisisi beach which was well worth the trip. Would recommend having a car to take full advantage of the area. The host is fantastic and very responsive we also had a lovely kitty visiting everyday which was a bonus! Highly recommend and would come back - miss the horizons and views already.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem schönen Haus mit Pool. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind super und laden zum relaxen ein, während die Kinder im Pool planschen. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und aufmerksam.

We arrived at the house 3 hours early, but were met by the owner, he invited us for a beer and ordered fresh orange juice from the nearby coffee shop. The owner immediately made us feel at home. The house has everything you need, there are a few small things that could be improved, but nothing that matters a lot. The outdoor area is amazing, it couldn't be better, we enjoyed cooking on the grill while watching the sunset and our kids spent pretty much the entire vacation in the pool. We were 2 families, 4 children and 4 adults and there was plenty of space. We hope to return next year to this amazing place.

Just returned from a lovely week with friends in the Lyrids Apartments. We stayed in Pyxis, which suited our needs perfectly. Manoulis and his family were really helpful and friendly, giving great recommendations for places to eat locally. The pool was gorgeous and, as it was a quieter week, we had the pool to ourselves on many occasions. The beautiful, sandy Episkopi beach was at the bottom of the road, with a choice of bars, restaurants and beach loungers. You really need a car to do the area any justice, as you can be up in the hills within 10 minutes, on the beach within 5 minutes and into Rethymno old town within 30 minutes. We flew into Chania, which only took 1 hour to get to the villa. We are already trying to sort another holiday to Lyrids - the location is perfect and the views are stunning.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Stella's Home was the most positive Airbnb experience I've ever had (and I've had some really lovely ones). The place is beautiful and the views are some of the best I've ever seen with the beach being only a 6 minute walk away. Stella was also an exceptional host. She stocked the fridge with some complementary groceries which made for a really positive start to our trip, especially after a day of traveling. It was also one of the most thoughtful things a host has done for one of my stays. Stella was also very communicative, checking in to make sure everything was going well for us and if we needed anything. The hot tub was amazing, the house was spotless and comfortable, the description of the space completely accurate. 5 days was not enough for us here and if I ever make it back to Crete, I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Dimitrios’ house in Lygaria! The home is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to the beach and local tavernas. Dimitrios was an exceptional host, welcoming, responsive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay even better. One thing to note is that there are sound monitors inside the house. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Crete.

This place was exactly as shown and described. We felt very welcome, right down to the fruit basket and other treats left and brought to us. The location was ideal for our plans. The area is breath-taking.

A beautifully restored stone building in a great location. You're in the heart of the village and still have privacy. Meeting Pavlina and Johan I now understand the meaning of superhost They are more than exceptional hosts, they are exceptional human beings.

Magnifique ! Foncez ! Le logement: Wahou ! Propre, cosy, confort. Une magnifique terrasse avec un jacuzzi privé dont nous avons beaucoup profité et une vue sur le petit port à couper le souffle. Une cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut (frigidaire, vaisselle, couverts, etc ...). 2 belles salles de bains avec tout ce qu'il faut (serviettes, produits, etc ...). Chambres confortables. Un salon avec Netflix, pour ceux qui le soir ont envie de se poser un peu. L'accueil: Wahou ! Harry nous attendait avec le sourire, malgré notre retard (avion, location de voiture, les aléas des voyages🤣). Sur place un tas de choses pour bien commencer nos vacances : fruits, charcuterie, pain, eaux, coca et de quoi déjeuner (confitures, miel ,café ..) Le gros+: Merci à Harry pour ses bons conseils (lieux à visiter, restaurants, tavernes, plages ...) et sa constante disponibilité et rapidité à répondre pendant notre séjour. L'endroit: Très joli port, un peu bruyant et animé le soir. Bon départ pour sillonner.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour de 3 nuits à la Maison de vacances en bord de mer. Le logement était propre et nous avons bien aimé la terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Tout ce dont nous pouvons avoir besoin se trouve sur place. La région est magnifique. Sécuritaire, bon rapport qualité prix!

5 stars are not enough to give Komissa's. The home is beautiful, historic and unbelievably located. It was not lacking in any amenity and if it was Yvonne was available to provide it. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay was. Yvonne is a fabulous hostess; every recommendation was spot on and she was kind enough to take me to her favorite taverna where we were treated like queens. She goes the extra mile (kilometer) to ensure you have everything you could want or need. She makes sure you see the "real" Crete, not just what the tour books tell you. While the pictures are 100% accurate and completely represent the home, u you cannot see just how centrally located the home is until you are there. And the rooftop! So peaceful and surrounded by so many beautiful plants I cannot wait to come back, now that I've traveled through Greece, i can spend my entire vacation at Yvonne's home. 100 stars all the way and i can't wait to come back to Ag.Pelagia! Efcharisto Yvonne!

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, saubere Wohnung, alles Nötige ist in der Küche vorhanden. Die Wohnung hat Klimaanlage und ist am Ortseingang, super wenn man schnell beim Bus sein will. Neben der Wohnungstür ist such gleich ein kleiner Supermarkt und Mietwagen Shop. Strand nicht weit weg. Bali ist ein sehr ruhiger schöner, dennoch touristischer Ort. Von der Wohnunh aus bis zur letzten Bucht läuft man eine halbe Std. total o.k.! Gern wieder :-)

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, in der Küche war alles was man zum kochen benötigt, es gab sogar Kinderspielsachen und Equipment für den Strand. Alles war total sauber und der Kontakt zu Efi war sehr freundlich. Den Garten haben wir sehr gerne genutzt und auch den Grill dort. Vielen Dank, für die schöne Zeit, die wir dort verbringen konnten.

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in! It was right on a really lovely beach, but also has this amazingly unique panoramic window view of the mountains. You can just lie in bed and watch the nature - it's awesome. The space is modern, comfy and clean and well worth the price. We'd definitely come back here!
