The place is beautiful and quiet. If you want to stay in a peaceful environment this is a perfect spot. The host Akshay ji is very friendly and accomodating. Our chef Tara bhai and the caretaker dheeraj bhai were amazing and not forgetting the food. It was fresh and very delicious. They helped us with bonfire one night. It was hard to say goodbye to this hidden gem. I have created a best memories before flying back to Australia. Thank you for this amazing experience. Will be returning for sure.

What a memorable stay at Almora! It is a beautiful studio apartment with all the necessary amenities opening to mountain views. Perfect for vacation: several day trip options from Almora, also for working from the mountains. Meals were delicious. Even got to enjoy Kumaoni specialities. Hosts Ravi ji and Meenakshi ji, their warm hospitality greatly exceeded expectations. They communicated & advised during every step of the journey, local sightseeing, cab booking, next places to travel, going above and beyond to make sure for a comfortable stay. Hope to return to this place again, maybe for a longer stay.

A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . Tranquil Experience!! The stay was very comfortable and enjoyable! Indoor fireplace was a lovely experience. Place was very clean and hygienic. Mr. Raj is very hospitable. They also have two lovely and friendly dogs. Although a more stocked kitchen would be nice to have for guests who like to cook a bit during their stay but Mr. Raj was kind enough to make the requested appliances and materials available. Also gave a lovely tour of the beautiful property next morning, and catered to our late night requests for guacamole toasts and firewood.
