It is made from recycled/reclaimed material's, bed side tables which are made out of suitcases, handmade high bed with storage. The breakfast bar is a cast iron cutting table from an old printing press. There is a kitchen area made up of vintage drawers and doors, with a small fridge, toaster, kettle, air fryer, but no oven. French doors leading to a private courtyard area.

Enjoy feeding the fish, you might even see the heron on his daily visit! No fishing please. We are set in 4 acres with beautiful walks to Buxted Park, Ashdown Forest. There are two pubs within a short walk, both excellent food. Our lodge is fitted out to provide a comfortable stay with nature in abundance.

There is a fridge and a small area for making tea / coffee and toast but no cooker - who wants to cook on holiday anyway!! There are local pubs including one within 3 mins walk serving good food, shops and even a Victorian cinema in walking distance and many other Sussex and Kent places of interest within a short drive.

The Old Stables is a completely self-contained detached building with its own parking space, in the village of Buxted. The Old Stables benefits from sitting on the edge of a wild meadow where guests are welcome to take a stroll or enjoy the wildlife and peaceful birdsong. There are two pubs, a shop and train station within a 5 minute walk. Set within the boundaries of Ashdown Forest there are numerous lovely walks on the doorstep and the town of Uckfield is a short drive away.
