Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Palau

We stayed for a week at this beautiful villa, waking up to gorgeous sunsets every morning… We had the most stunning sea view. The villa had everything we needed and the pool was an added bonus. We hired a car to go around and it was very convenient for us to visit the surrounding areas and beyond. All the recommendations provided were spot on especially ‘La Cinta’ beach and ‘la Taverna’ restaurant! Vincenzo was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay. Missing that gorgeous view…

Donatella is a very attentive and hospitable person. Her house has the perfect location, because you are 1 min walk from the main street of Palau, without disregarding the tranquility in the house. Also, the house is super clean and has everything you need.

Patrizia was very kind at all times! Upon arrival, we had a 6-hour delay from our airline and he waited for us when we arrived at night. Every other day he asked us how we were, if we needed anything, and from the first minute he gave us recommendations on what tours to do/which beaches to go to/where to eat like a local. From the time we got there until we left, she was always ready for anything, with a huge smile. I'd give it 10 stars, but I can only give 5 on the platform. Thanks Paty! We'll be back for sure!

Super nice view from the terrace. Kitchen was well equipped. Parking nearby. Quiet environment, except for a disco in the far distance. Supermarket can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Beautiful beaches in 3 min. by car. Accommodation ideal for 2 persons.

The place is great for staying in the north-east of the island. From there you can reach many beautiful beaches by car, but you can also walk to the three beaches of Palau itself or just drive over to La Maddalena! The place itself is super nice, as shown on the pictures and above all quiet and relaxed. Unfortunately, the dishes were not really clean with us, but this was not due to Caterina, but our previous tenants! Otherwise, it was super clean and everything was in great order. The parking situation is not that easy. With luck you can park in front of the house, if that doesn't work, you can park the car "upstairs" in the village, so far away from the ferry. There is a free parking space, especially at Spar, which you can really easily reach on foot. Therefore, you can always solve possible parking problems quite well. Overall, the place is a great recommendation!

We stayed at Tito’s place for one week. The perfect getaway in this part of Sardinia. All the beaches are 15-20 min drive.. the place is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of green and flowers. The house itself is perfect with a nice living room with two couches. Had a great time! The distance to the beautiful beach was only six minutes on foot. The beds are super comfortable. The view from the balcony is a dream. Pictures can't do it justice. Nice place to relax! We will be happy to come back!

This place was exceptional. The marina is super close and nice to walk at night, pretty much everything was walkable and had many restaurants to choose from! Right around the corner is the Del Mar bistro, which was super convenient and had terrific food (we recommend trying the catch of the day, it is super worth it). The hosts were super friendly and very responsive! We accidentally locked ourselves out one night and in came Alessandra to the rescue without complaint! She is super sweet and had great recommendations for which beaches to go to!

We (family of 4) stayed for a cheeky 3 days at Maria's apartment. The place was spotlessly clean. Maria was incredibly flexible both with check-in and check-out which was really helpful as our flights and other plans gave us lots of idle time which we used up in the apartment. It's a 5 min walk down the hill to the restaurants and shops which is really lively without being overly touristy - not in June anyway. Would happily go back and Maria was 100% the ideal host.

Everything you want is in the house, it's very clean, and the view is great.

Giovanni's place was very nice. The view from the terrace was indescribably beautiful. At breakfast and in the evening at sunset, there was a great atmosphere. The apartment was very functional and tidy. For us, traveling as a family of four with two “big” children (16/18), the apartment was perfect. 3 rooms. Ample storage space and space. A very spacious outdoor area with table/ chairs/ washing machine/ two deck chairs and my highlight a very nice outdoor shower with cold/warm water. We felt very comfortable. The covered shaded parking space for our car was also ideal. The excursion options to Palau, the Maddalena Archipelago and for excursions to various beaches were ideal. A small market in Porto Pollo and beautiful restaurants in Porto Pollo rounded off our vacation experience very positively. Giovanni had valuable tips for a trip to the Maddalena Archipelago or to rent a boat.

Check-in/check-out was very straightforward. The hosts very nice and helpful. The terrace was definitely my favorite part of the apartment! And maybe also the rain shower in the bathroom ;-) Only with the neighbors around you have to be a little lucky so that it is also quiet, but the hosts can't do anything about that. In any case, it was a great stay in a great location - I would definitely book this place again. Grazie mille!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this apartment in Porto Pollo, Sardinia. Upon arrival, we were seduced by the setting: breathtaking sea views, a quiet and preserved environment, and direct access to a beautiful beach. The apartment itself was perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Every detail seemed to have been thought of to offer maximum comfort: quality bedding, functional kitchen, air conditioning, and a small terrace where we loved to eat. The welcome from our hostess was up to the place: warm, attentive, with valuable tips for discovering the region, and good restaurants. A real little piece of heaven, which we would recommend without hesitation.

We stayed 10 days at Rosi’s place with our 15 month kid and we had a great time there. It is close to the center so easy for shopping and go for coffee or drinks. There’s a small beach 2min walking, not the greatest of sardinia, but it was perfect to go with the kid. From Palau, you can very easily take a boat to visit the near islands or take the car to visit the north of Sardinia. Rosi’s place was clean, comfortable, well equiped and well located. She even provided us a bed and chair for the baby 👌 It was quite easy to park our car around (end of august). There are some free spots around (available early in the morning or in the evening) or a paying parking that we used a couple of time.

people said you have a view of the carpark. They did not look up. bus stop outside, beach 5 mins walk, 10 mins walk to port and centre

The reception was very friendly, the apartment was very cozy, the area very nice. The apartment was just as shown in the pictures, we felt very comfortable right away and the terrace overlooking the harbor was fantastic. The place offers everything you need, in the immediate vicinity there was a great restaurant, beautiful boutiques and a supermarket. Cannigione is also a great starting point for exploring the coast.
