The property, planted with olive trees, and other water self-sufficient plants offers various places for relaxation under the shade. Moreover, the half basketball court (official size) equipped with lights gives the perfect setting for enjoying sports during days and evenings. The house itself underwent a full renovation in 2018. Respect has been paid to original materials and traditional forms at the same time aiming to meet the most demanding needs in terms of comfort and elegance. Property Description The property is located in a flat area ideal for walking and biking to the beach. Arriving in front of the stone fence, you are welcomed by a gated drive with space for at least 4 cars. The surroundings of the drive is planted with various trees such as olive, lemon, pomegranate, almond and pistachio trees which are in season at various times of the year. The house with its’ stone-paved surroundings, is situated at the end of the drive and in the middle of the property, far enough from the nearest road to offer privacy and tranquility. It also features a smart tv 55" SAMSUNG and Bluetooth speaker Harman Kardon. Agios Nikolaos Anavyssos is one of the most special beaches of Attica, due to its shape. Sandy, with clear waters and a temple on a hill with a wonderful view. The beach is about 35 minutes from Glyfada and 50 minutes from the center of Athens. The turquoise waters and the view from the Temple or its hill will drive you crazy. The truth is that it is suitable for all tastes and there you can do many things. You can access a beach bar, be more isolated, do nudism, watersports, play rackets or volleyball and of course with a short climb to the hill to enjoy the magical view of the Aegean and the coastal front of Attica. The church of Agios Nikolaos is located at an elevated point below the hill, overlooking the endless blue. With a few minutes' walk from the beach, you will arrive. There are benches to relax and enjoy the view. Continuing upwards you will see remnants of the prehistoric settlement. The place is suitable for a fort and as you will notice on the slopes of the hill there are traces of walls. This means that in the past there was indeed a fortress for battles. The church inside is a single room of Byzantine times, vaulted inside. It has recently been repaired, after a powerful explosion in the Sanctuary by strangers that occurred in 2005 and during which murals, its entrance and other parts were destroyed. The interior is plastered, after repairs, while the mural decoration is almost completely destroyed. The church belongs to the parish of Agios Theodoros Anavyssos and on December 6, the day of the feast of the Saint, an evening and divine Liturgy is celebrated.

Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.

If you have a chance to stay at George and Eleni’s apartment in Athens, do it! Not only are they incredibly responsive and flexible (they held our bags when we got in super early in the morning), but the location and layout of the apartment is perfect. Most importantly the wrap-around private roof deck with direct views of the Parthenon, Montastiraki Square and the Temple of Hephaestus really is a showstopper. They left some water and sodas, which were a sweet touch. Truly an incredible place!

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Overall we had a nice stay at Chris's. The accommodation is well-located and well appointed. The terrace and hot tub are a real plus. Chris was available and responsive to our requests. We'll be happy to go back!

Clara was sweet and welcoming. He waited patiently for us, even though we were a little late. She had prepared a small welcome gift for us. The house had everything you needed for a peaceful stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but very communicative with buses, trams and metro. It was easy and quick to get to the center, main attractions and beaches. There were shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so we didn't miss anything.

This place was amazing! Self check-in & check out were seamless, and the host provided very clear and easy instructions. The host also set us up with a driver from the ferry port and to the airport for our travel days, which was very convenient for a big group of us. The rooms and the whole place were beautiful and even better than the photos! We only stayed for one night, it was a group of 9 of us, and it was so spacious. We would have loved to stay longer just because of the place! A lot of markets and cafes are a walk away, and taxis (ubers) are super easy to get if you want to go to other areas. The host was extremely responsive and helped when the AC units went out for a couple of minutes, helping and fixing the issue right away. Everything was amazing and we wish we were able to stay longer!!

Maria and Manolis place was wonderful. It is in an excellent location, 12 minutes from the airport. It is private , secluded and the actual property is an ecosystem dream , with many animals, plants and things to explore. Although we didn’t have time to do so ,I will upon my return. The apartment is filled with many convenience items and Manolis was very helpful with full explanations of everything on the property. They are both very friendly and excellent hosts! You must be appreciative and accepting of the nature that is on their property, including the wonderful chickens and roosters.😊

We had a wonderful stay in Athens at Irene’s place. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed and air conditioning in the bedroom and living room. It was in a great neighborhood, within walking distance of the Plaka district and the Acropolis. Irene was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend her apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Athens.

My son and I had two nights at Constantines place. He was very approachable and we were able to leave our luggage at the apartment before checking in and once it was ready for us his cleaner kindly texted us that it was ready. Constantine gave great recommendations and we were very happy with the taxi driver he recommended, Spartacus, and also a local cafe Loukas which was excellent. It’s a nice neighbourhood, we visited the Greek War Museum and were able to walk there in under 5 minutes, it’s also close to the Metro. The apartment itself wants for nothing- it’s got all mod cons, is very comfortable, lovely balcony, blackout blinds, great decor and Constantine has thought of everything. Delighted with our stay, wish it could have been longer- but hopefully we will be back, and highly recommend!

I had a great time at this property. Located in the 6th floor you have a great city view, Acropolis being visible from the terrace. The jacuzzi is an amazing experience at night. The place both smelled and looked clean, and in my experience the host did the little extra to account for a great experience - which it really was. Good instructions, easy check-in and access by app. Overall a really good stay at this property.
