Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

It sits opposite Willow House a Victorian house built in the late 19th century as a gamekeeper's cottage for the Troston Hall Estate. It is ideal for a romantic getaway, cycling/walking and for exploring everything Suffolk has to offer. The Bull Freehouse is a 10 min walk up the lane with great food & beer!

It is also a great 'Home from Home' for workers providing a clean, bright, ambient space, super comfortable bed, large table/workspace, great shower and an adequate kitchen, to ease the end of a busy day.

We are just a 20 minute drive from the quaint market town of Bury St Edmunds and also within easy reach of Newmarket, Cambridge and Norwich. Guests can be confident that on arrival the accommodation will be sparkling clean and surfaces disinfected.
