Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Paiva River

Foram umas férias memoráveis. A quinta é incrível, com imensas coisas para se ver e fazer. De certo que voltaremos.

De verdad quedé encantado con la casa está ubicada en una zona bonita y tranquila todo muy limpio y en orden un sitio muy cómodo para descansar

Antonio was extremely responsive and generous with his time- picking me up at the station and dropping me off, and giving me a lift to the supermarket and to the river beach as I do not have a car and have reduced mobility. For others with mobility issues, I would say that it is quite steep there (which they warned me about) however I did find a couple of nice walks that were doable for me. The nature is exceptionally beautiful: mists rolling over the river, birds of prey gliding overhead, birdsong, the scent of orange blossom… I also enjoyed making a fire in the wood burner in the evening. This is a convenient place to come from Porto as it is just a few minutes’ drive from the train station which is on a scenic route 1.5 hours from the city. Thanks so much for having me!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! Tout était parfaitement conforme à l’annonce : calme, propre, bien équipé, avec un accueil vraiment exceptionnel. L’hôte est d’une grande gentillesse, chaleureuse, disponible tout en restant très discrète. Elle avait même préparé un lit douillet pour notre bébé, ce qui nous a beaucoup touchés. Malgré quelques jours de pluie, nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien chez elle, comme à la maison. Le cadre est paisible, en pleine campagne, exactement ce que nous recherchions, tout en étant un point de départ idéal pour explorer le nord du Portugal. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons vivement !

Adorámos a casa e espaço. As fotos não fazem justiça à casa. Excelente espaço para o cão estar no exterior solto. Tivemos privacidade total. Bons trilhos e paisagens à volta para passear. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos proprietários! Iremos voltar certamente.

Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. The place is huge and the views are spectacular. I can’t say enough good things. Please stay here!!!

This place was exactly what we were looking for! The balcony (which also has somewhat of a ceiling, so you can use it even if it rains) is perfectly cosy, and the view is quite frankly stunning. The neighbourhood is calm and quiet, with everything needed at a walking distance. Getting down to the river only took approx 20 min, and there are lots of things to see and do in the area. Ani was a great host, always fast in responding and helping with our questions. She also accommodated us with a flexible check-in, meaning we could make the most of our stay. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a neat apartment, with good location and amazing views!

This place is perfect in everything. Super clean, organized, has many extras waiting for you. Very pleasant and inviting place in the heart of old Porto.

2 eme séjour dans le même immeuble avec un logement différent . Très bon emplacement pour visiter Porto , metro enface de l’appartement . Très bon aménagements & équipements. Si vous avez le sommeil fragile le seul petit bémol est le bruit des voisins du dessus que l’on peu entendre si jamais il rentre tard ou partent tôt. À savoir que la chambre des enfants est indépendante donc aucun bruit des voisins pour eux . Mais cela ne nous gênants pas étant bien fatigués de nos journées, nous sommes revenus & reviendrons si nous revenons sur Porto . Merci :)

The pictures honor the apartment as it is exactly what you will get. it’s orientation is perfect once the resting area (room and toilet) is on the west side of the building, while the living area is located in the east part of the building, meaning that one can benefit from the sunrise in the room and sunset in the living room and resulting on a great light inside the house. The kitchen is all equipped, having a dish machine, laundry machine which also dries, all the basics to cook, pans, cutlery, toast machine, a boiler for water and coffee machine. Sousa family provided coffee capsules, tea and sugar as courtesy and a great detail was to provide the basics to cook (sunflower oil, olive oil, peppers, parsley, aluminum foil, salt) which is a nice gesture. the apartment has good finishings, being mostly wood, making the atmosphere warm. Well isolated apartment, had no need of AC which is available. Views, well, the only aspect that pictures do not honor, in loco is much better!

Nach hinten hinaus ist es sehr schön ruhig. Und es ist toll, dass es einen so guten Parkplatz gibt. Das Design im Appartement hat mir sehr gut gefallen, sehr geschmackvoll und passend zu dem alten Haus. Was aber unbedingt fehlt, ist ein großer Spiegel.

Excelente alojamiento. El apartamento es muy simpático y cuenta con cocina bien equipada, 2 servicios completos, calefacción, lavadora y secadora, balcón, 3 habitaciones. Además es muy soleado y el ambiente de la zona es muy familiar. Zélia es un amor de persona, muy simpática y atenta. Abajo hay un pequeño supermercado que tiene de todo, y los precios son normales. Los accesos son fáciles y relativamente cerca de la autopista, por lo que si quieres ir a Oporto, Aveiro, etc es fácil. Muy recomendable. Repetiré sin duda.

O imóvel é impecável, muito limpo, com uma ótima localização, no centro histórico, e um ótimo aquecimento, que é muito importante no período de inverno. Além disso, o Anfitrião, Sr Manuel, foi extremamente amável e prestativo. Recomendo o imóvel.

Um excelente espaço para uma familia grande. em quase todos as casas que visitámos a cozinha e sala sao pequenas ou pouco equipadas, mas nesta casa nao nos fatlou nada. podia ter um sofa maior pois tem muito espaço na parte de baixo. Aconselho a visitarem o espaço a pescina de agua aquecida mesmo sendo partilhada chega para todos o jacuzzi privado esta coberto o que me deixou a pensar que mesmo para o inverno é uma casa que qualquer um pode vizitar.

Die Kommunikation & der Check-In waren sehr unkompliziert. Das Airbnb verfügt über viel Platz & alles was nötig ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten weniger als 1 Minute enrfernt. Sehr gut ausgerüstete Küche. Der einzige Negativpunkt ist die Lage, das Airbnb befindet sich im Industriegebiet ausserhalb von Porto. Taxi oder Metro für alle Aktivitäten nötig.

Check-in fácil. Casa linda. Mónica super atenciosa.

We had an amazing stay at Diogo’s beautiful place. It is even better in real life than it looks on the photos, with great views and supermarkets / restaurants close by. The house is open and bright and perfect for a group of 10-15. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

Daniel and Katrina are already good friends. They are good people, easy to communicate and very helpful. They were impeccable in welcoming my family into their home. I highly recommend them!

Mr Sergio est très sympathique et accueillant. La villa est très jolie ,jardin nickel , tout pour passer un bon séjour en famille. Je recommande vivement!

Jeff's place is something you rarely find on Airbnb, it is a really beautiful property located in a protected, surrounded by nature and a river, silent valley. It is fully furnished, equipped with everything you may need or expect, perfectly cleaned, and very spacious. The kitchens (both in the main house and in the pool house) are basically professionals ones, with bbqs, smokers, all existing (high quality) kitchen utensils. Absolutely everything. The warm pool is stunning too and we used it in November! Before leaving after our 4 days we were looking at each other eyes, still surprised by the beauty and quality of the place. I could go on sharing all the great things we noticed, experienced and lived for much longer;) Congrats Jeff, you are really a fantastic host! Congrats Jeff, you are really a fantastic host!

Un endroit agréable et unique. Une vue magnifique sur la vallée. Une hôte très gentille et serviable, au delà de nos attentes. Nous recommandons fortement!
