The location of the apartment is awesome. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and excellent view of the beach and ocean. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves was such a gift. Patti is lovely and kind with her communications. We did have some issues with the shower and bath sink in one of the bathrooms. We also wished we had paid attention to what was not listed in terms of provisions. For example, you’d have to bring your own coffee, teas, paper towels, and bathroom hand soaps (although napkins and bath soap bars were provided). Overall, a beautiful home at a great location with potentials for some minor improvements which I understand Patti will address in good spirit.

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the beautiful front garden. It was so peaceful and calm—like our own little slice of paradise. It really set the tone for a relaxing and happy getaway. The house itself was super charming and gave us that classic, cozy Carmel experience we were hoping for. Every little detail felt thoughtful and welcoming. Inside, everything was spotless and so well taken care of. It felt fresh, tidy, and super comfortable. And the bed—wow! Hands down, the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. I slept like a baby every single night and woke up feeling so rested. There was a little construction going on next door, but honestly, we barely even noticed it. It was really quiet and didn’t affect our stay at all. We still felt like we had our own private, peaceful retreat. The host was so kind, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. It made our stay feel extra smooth and stress-free. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Came here for a quick vacation with my best friend. This spot is absolutely beautiful. You can’t beat the views, and hearing the waves even from inside the cottage. We spent hours on the balcony catching some sun, and even saw some dolphins passing by. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The king size bed was very comfy. Even though this is a guest house, it still feels very private. Location was very convenient for many of the stops we had planned during our stay. Definitely a memorable Airbnb.

Love Liz's place. I have stayed her numerous time and will continue to do so. My family and dog stayed at Jeremy’s house for 5 days and loved every minute. The house is very spacious and airy, super well-maintained with lots of room to relax and enjoy. The front and back yards are big and perfect for a dog and kids. Everything you’d need is covered, from outdoor shower to a handy pooper scooper and toys for the dog. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet only 3 minutes walk to great burgers, pizza or Mexican food. And only 8 minute walk to The Hook or 38th Ave for surfing or beach. 5 minute drive or an easy bike ride to downtown Capitola. Jeremy was a fantastic host, always asking if we needed anything. Will definitely visit again!

Laura’s place was spot on for our short stay. Beach was a stones throw away, which is where the kids wanted to spend their time. The place was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Detailed instructions for the apartment to go alongside the stay and useful local information.

We enjoyed staying in David's place very much! It was short walk to the Beach Board Walk and Seabright Beach so we took our dog for a walk multiple times a day :-) Our teenagers also enjoyed getting to the Board Walk + hanging out in the roomy attic (king size bed + extended sofa). We could actually see the roller coaster from the window + hear *subtleI* Board Walk screams from the room, which we thought was cool. David and the hosts let us in the house before our check in time and was super responsive whenever we contacted. For complete transparency, people very sensitive to noise or have little kids may have a little concern since it's facing to a relatively busy streat. It is also near a rundown motel (which didn't bother us). Overall, super satisfied with the place.

Clean, well-appointed, spacious home less than a block from the beautiful Twin Lakes Beach. You can see the beach from chairs on the front lawn. We were lucky enough to be there during the lighted boat parade (first Saturday in December), so we watched the lighted boats in the water from the front yard. Everything was easily accessible. The home includes many amenities (washer/dryer, cooking supplies, games, pack n play). The room with the bunk beds has a separate bathroom, making it really nice for families with older kids. Great stay and I hope we can return.

Our 5 day stay was great. Felt right at home. Great location w an amazing view. Place was nice and clean. We found beach gear as well that’s provided by the host. We were greated with complimentary snacks and bottled bubbly water. Kitchen had everything needed to cook if need be. We will definitely be coming back once the opportunity comes around.

We spent several nights in David’s condo, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I had kind and timely communication with David even before our arrival, and the condo itself was just perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is in a very peaceful, private area and closer to the water than expected. Breathing the ocean air and the sound of waves is so healing. I watched humpback whales breach and dolphins feeding, it was very pleasant to have pelicans flying right past as well. The sunsets were beautiful and it was such excellent viewing at any time of day with 2 deck levels to choose from. You can view the coast from Santa Cruz all the way down to Monterey! The condo is tastefully decorated and spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable with cozy quilts and pillows. There are comfy throws for your lap and many other homey touches. The condo has so many dishes and pots and pans it’s easy to cook a meal. I can’t wait to stay there again. Thank you David!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kristina’s condo! The place was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kristina was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this Airbnb – we’d definitely stay here again!

The condo was great. We had an issue with the master bathroom shower but Bjorn took care of it right away the same day that it was noticed. The location of this condo is perfect. Right on the ocean and within walking distance for dining, shopping, and several things to do on the ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone.

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

Everything was advertised. This unit had it all. Very comfortable for 2 or 3 couples. The location was spectacular.

The place is great! Beautiful location and great access to private beach. It’s one room as described, equipped kitchen and dining. Although it says for 4 people, 2 people have to use the sofas to sleep. Good for couple and 2 children. I would definitely recommend this place and location.

Jane was prompt and responsive to every communication. When we got there, we bought groceries for our stay. After one night in the refrigerator, some stuff was frozen. I noticed the fridge had been at the lowest temperature setting. The previous renter had probably wanted to get drinks/beer cold quickly and forgot to turn the temperature to a typical setting. Jane and her husband were responsive and even compensated us for our loss; I wasn't looking for that because it wasn't their fault. Nonetheless, we were thankful for the compensation.

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and the ocean. Perfect place for wildlife viewing. We enjoyed the comfortable seating area with panoramic coastline views through the large picture windows. There's also a nice deck attached to the living room and master bedroom.

We were so delighted to find this place- it exceeded our expectations. Lovely to wake up listening to the ocean and such a joy to return here every day. Fantastic views of the long, sandy beach and ocean which is just right in front of the property. This is a spacious property with beautiful interiors. The kitchen is also very well- equipped. Highly recommended. We had the pleasure of meeting Jo which was a delight. Thank you so much, Jo!

Honestly my stay at this location was more than what I could’ve hoped for. It was nice to just get away and enjoy the view of the ocean from the living room!

This was the perfect house for our family. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfy. The living room on the top floor had amazing views of the ocean. Would highly recommend for a family getaway.

What a peaceful place. We had a great short visit and hope we can come again! The place is even better than the photos. We spent hours watching the birds, ocean and sun set and rise. It was great that we could bring our dog along too!

Marc’s beach view condo was absolutely beautiful. Spent a girls weekend there and it was very comfortable for three people. Kitchen was fully stocked, fireplace was nice and cozy. He was very flexible with our check-in time. I highly recommend this place if you’d like a peaceful location & quite beautiful ocean view. This is a perfect location in between Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel.

We love staying here, we've come here multiple years in a row. It's cozy, well maintained, and perfect for a family of four. The garage and driveway for parking is so key for a neighborhood so close to the beach. Street parking is always taken. We love the proximity to the beach and provided beach chairs, boogey boards, pop up tent, and beach towels. We walked to roaring Camp Railroad beach pickup, the boardwalk, and multiple restaurants. Communication, check in, and check out are extremely easy. We plan on coming back again next year!

First time staying at this area and it was very peaceful. The view from our room was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Megan was an awesome host and would definitely come and stay again.
