Cozy cabin with beautiful view

Simple cabin located 1000 meters above sea level. Road all year long. In winter, it is only cleared upon arrival and on departure. PS! Toll road up to the mountain (winter 120kr, summer DKK 60). Electricity. NO running water inside the house, but drilling water for the outside wall. Incineration toilet and simple shower in the bathroom, and outdoor toilet in the shed (extension to the cabin). Dogs are allowed, but not inside furniture. The tenant must bring their own bed linen and towels, as well as clean upon departure. The tenant locks in with the key box code.

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right next to fishing lake

An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can ride your bikes, go hiking right out of the farm, walk in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

If you fancy cafe life and shopping, Beitostølen is 10 minutes away by car. At Beitostølen you will find most things before sports, fashion, interiors and wellness, as well as wine monopoly and grocery stores. They also have a good selection of cafes and restaurants. We rent out three cozy and charming cabins at Stubbesetstølen in Vaset. Very central, with all amenities! Perfect for family fun or couples, with many activities in the immediate vicinity; such as cycling, fishing, mountain hiking, swimming, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, sledding, etc. The cabins are close to each other, so several families can rent separate cabins at the same time, if you want! You can rent one, two or three cabins, depending on what you as a guest want and what we have available :-)

High standard, rough and charming high mountain cabin built 2014. Unassuming and quiet at the end of the dead end. Great views of mountains and water. Board games, 250 Donald leaves, kubb and croquet in the cabin. Cozy nooks and crannies to hide away for games , reading, and for a nap. Day bed with room for the whole family ! Long table outside with morning sun. Warm outdoor nook with evening sun. Guests must bring sheets/duvet/pillowcases. Guests must clean the cabin before leaving it.
