Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Owen Sound

Jesse was a very helpful, responsive host. This house was perfect for our family with all the amenities as described in the listing. It is next door to a community centre which had a dance on the Saturday night, but the music was not that loud and it was over at midnight. Each bedroom had a sound machine you could use to fall asleep to waves or birds or other soothing sounds. The whole house was very clean and the pantry was well stocked and every kind of utensil and dish and glass and cup you could need was provided. The narrow fairly steep stairs to bedrooms on the second floor might be a challenge for some if you have knee issues. For us it was really a great place to stay and exactly as pictured and described.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Amanda’s cottage. The place is fully renovated with a picturesque front porch and a private backyard space. The cottage is nestled in between others and you can barely tell given how peaceful the street is. Proximity to Wiarton is a plus if you’re wanting to go out for food or a coffee shop. Highly recommend the stay, and Amanda is very responsive if you have any questions or need recos! Would definitely come back.

This was a lovely place to stay, a home away from home. The home was immaculate, the surroundings peaceful. There were beautiful views out of all the extra large windows, with a walk out to the patio from the master bedroom. With a large firepit, hammock and bbq, the outside area was covered for comfort. The inside was very spacious, with a stocked kitchen, games and reading material. Our host was great at communicating. We would definately recommend this place for a great getaway.

We are so happy for the opportunity to visit this wonderful place! The check in was so easy and the owners were so friendly and clear with their instructions. The place was so much bigger for us than we expect based in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay and left feeling rested and sad to leave the place!!!! Was amazing and all the amenities makes you feel home and helps you make amazing plans in the backyard without going out!!!! We really appreciate Manny & Mansi left us stayed in this amazing place, looking forward to our next visit! We definitely will come back!!!

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

Lovely spot to stay with the family. We had such a nice weekend. Meaford is great place and close to both Owen sound and Collingwood to explore further. The house was comfortable and a great place for our family and dog to relax. It had everything we needed

Susan’s place was a cute and comfy stay in the heart of Owen Sound. The house was quaint, very clean and fit 5 adults comfortably. Susan had the bathroom and the kitchen well stocked. The rooms upstairs had fresh linens, and the beds were comfortable. The house definitely had its quirks, with the ceilings being slanted in some parts of the bedrooms, but it added to the charm! We left headphones there and Susan promptly shipped them back to us. I would highly recommend staying here!

Dorothy's was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. The entire space is super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the forest and the firepit area make it a serene and relaxing environment to spend a weekend away.

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

We absolutely loved staying at Jessica’s place, it felt like we were cocooning in a treehouse. The location was so close to beautiful Georgian Bay. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed the interior fireplace and exterior fire pit. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chantal and Sylvain’s place! From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed by this clean, cozy, and beautifully-furnished home-away-from-home. Our hosts thought of everything, and were friendly, responsive and helpful. Their place is complete with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, in addition to some additional thoughtful, special touches. We had fun playing some of the many available board games, and found it so peaceful to sit in their quiet backyard, surrounded by trees. We LOVED lounging in the beautiful hot tub. Next time we’re in Coldwater, we would definitely stay at Chantal and Sylvain’s place again! Highly recommend!

This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed! I attended a wedding in the area and my only wish is that I had more time on the property. I would recommend this place to anyone and I hope I can stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Katrina’s cottage. It rained throughout our stay, but that only added to the magic of the surroundings and made the house feel even cozier. The nature around was truly stunning - such a beautiful, remote, and peaceful location, exactly what we were hoping for to unwind for a few days. The house itself was lovely, with a spacious living room and large panoramic windows that let us take in the views. The jacuzzi was clean and spacious, and it was such a treat to gaze at the trees and sky while relaxing there. We also enjoyed a short walk to the lake. Overall, it was a great experience - wish I could go back right now! :)

We had a great stay at Casey's A-Frame Cabin. Everything was as described and matched the photos, had everything we needed for our trip. A very quiet and secluded location, great to relax in the middle of the forest. Only a short drive to nearby towns and beaches like Sauble Falls and Southampton, and easy to get on the main road north to Tobermory, the National Parks and various trails. Casey was easy to communicate with and had some great local recommendations for trips and food.

This is one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. The location was beautiful, with the river running right through the back of the property and different seating areas to make you feel immersed in nature. The attention to detail on the inside was impressive. Frosted beer glasses in the freezer, complimentary bottle of wine, heated floors in the bathroom, super comfortable beds/sheets, nice TV with access to the major streaming platforms and cable. It was the perfect home base for our hiking weekend, and I would definitely go back. Derek was very responsive and a great host. Just can't say enough good things about the Cozy Cottage!

Hello! We stayed two days in the house. It was really very nice. We liked everything: the cleanliness of the house, the sauna and the hot tub. Also very beautiful and well-groomed area near the house (we could not enjoy it to the fullest because it was raining). Not far away you can go to the lake and go kayaking. Also a special thanks to Josie, who quickly answered any questions and helped us with everything. If you want to relax in a quiet and cozy place, then welcome to the Morhaven!!!

Incredibly gorgeous setting and fantastic "Hemmingway-esque" ambiance. Perfect get away cabin in the woods with great surroundings and very comfortable features. Everything matches Mark's description exactly. Beds are comfy and spacious. There is plenty of room for 4 individuals each in their own bed and bed space. A 5th could take the massive couch to give everyone a place. We loved our stay there and would recommend it to our friends. Rustic but beautiful and all the required needs present.

This was exactly what we were looking for to get away for a few days! Based on recommendations from other reviews we brought drinking water and were glad we did. Toilet was awkwardly close to the shower, but we made it work. The kitchen was minimal as described and only had bare necessities, but we were still able to make most of our meals without issue. Highly recommend Cowbell Brewery, roughly 20 minutes away.
