The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even much further. Although the cabin is located on top of a hill, it is located on a farm, where sheep and lambs graze nearby. The cabin has a distinctive character, is more than 100 years old and has, among other things, a large, carved Viking ship model hanging from the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and a new kitchen with all the necessary equipment.

The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Setter du deg ute i gården med en kaffe, kan du nyte morgensolen og synet av rådhuskuppelen. Det er bare ett hus mellom Laurentzes hus og kinoen. Vil du ha en frokost i det grønne, kan du lage deg en kaffe på kjøkkenet, og spasere to minutter bort i Byparken og nyte den på en grønn benk der.

Here you can enjoy the days in calm surroundings with nature close by, either in and by the cabin or by using the amazing nature that surrounds the cabin. The cabin has recently been completely renovated and contains a living room and kitchen in one, 3 bedrooms with room for 6 - 8 people, bathroom, basement with washing machine, internet and TV. There is easy access by car all the way to the door.
