Eidfjord Apartment 2 minutes from Hardanger Fjords

АndréRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great value for the money for Norway. A spacious, fully equipped 1.5-room apartment. In the bedroom, a double bed and a bunk bed. In the living room, there is a bunk bed and a sofa. Very clean, everything well maintained and intact. The apartment is in the basement, but warm and with enough sunlight. All windows face the expressway, but at the beginning of May the traffic was very low. Bus stop "Kvamsdal Pensjonat" right in front of the house, with direct connections to the Vöringsfossen waterfall depending on the day of the week and season. Approximately 1.5 km walk to the town center. Easy arrival and departure with the lockbox.

Great lake house on a fruit farm in Hardanger.

Just a fantastic spot. Our stay here was a joy, beautiful and peaceful. We feel like we really lucked into a great part of Norway and a great property. Perfect weather allowed us to spend hours on the deck/dock enjoying the most beautiful view. Driving around the area and a few hikes into the mountains gave us plenty to do all day. There are two supermarkets nearby and just a few restaurants. Siderhuset Nola K restaurant in Na was great for lunch or dinner and worth the drive. The 5 course dinner at historic Utne Hotel was maybe not worth the high price tag in our opinion. Bondusvastnet hike was worth the drive as well. If you like wine or any liquor know that in Norway you can only get it at a state vinmonopolet. Closest is 25 miles so bring it with you from airport duty free.
