Unique and charming converted barn in beautiful Hälsingland

Welcome to a unique and charming converted old barn located in fine countryside in Hälsingland. Here on the farm there are several houses, including a nice old Hälsingegård. It is about 1,5 km to the village's family-friendly swimming area, possibility of fishing, cycling and paddling. In winter there is the possibility of skiing. It is 9 km to Alfta center where there is a grocery store, restaurants, swimming pool, library, tennis hall, ski tracks, migrant museum etc. Nearby there are also two health farms that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A cozy room features a traditional fireplace with a built-in seating area. Two armchairs are placed nearby, complemented by a vibrant plant on the ledge. Natural light floods in from the window, adorned with light curtains, enhancing the calming atmosphere created by the marbled wall decor.

My favorite place in Dalarna

The former "teacher's house" (187 square meters) of the neighboring village school, which was closed in 1969, is located in the small town of Dalfors. The modernized home has access to a pond that leads to the large Amungensee. The lake is 800 m away and has a beautiful bathing beach. W-LAN (unlimited) via LTE. The ice rink in Furudal is opened from 01.09. until 30.04. Golf and boat tours in Furudal. Edsbyn (33km) has all the necessary infrastructure. Local trade in Dalfors.

Das Haus liegt gut erreichbar mitten in der Natur (Wandermöglichkeiten gibt es hier überall) an einer kaum befahrenen Straße (direkt auf dem Weg zum Nordcup) mit wenigen Nachbarn und einem See (baden ist möglich). Es gibt Internet aber kein WLAN, es bietet sich an die Zeit hier offline zu genießen. Bis zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind es 15 Km und in die nächste Stadt 70 Km, man ist hier nahezu auf ein Auto angewiesen da die Busse nur bis Los (15 Km entfernt) fahren.

Unloading and charging will be done in our Swedish mini hiker's cabin, Lagom. With a lot of attention and love, we have renovated and decorated this. The only connection you will find here is with nature. At the edge of the forest is our cozy stuga, located next to our house. The ideal place to stay during a hiking trip or on transit. Motorcyclists, cyclists or hikers can make the perfect stopover here. Motorcycle or bicycle can be parked in the garage if necessary.
