Welcome to a unique and charming converted old barn located in fine countryside in Hälsingland. Here on the farm there are several houses, including a nice old Hälsingegård. It is about 1,5 km to the village's family-friendly swimming area, possibility of fishing, cycling and paddling. In winter there is the possibility of skiing. It is 9 km to Alfta center where there is a grocery store, restaurants, swimming pool, library, tennis hall, ski tracks, migrant museum etc. Nearby there are also two health farms that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In winter, you live right next to the cross-country ski track with access to 80 km of well-groomed cross-country skiing tracks - Ski In Ski Out. In the area, there are several activities all year round such as fishing, swimming, paddling, hiking, berries/mushroom picking. Järvsö is about 18 km away and offers alpine skiing, cycling, etc.

We fill up water before check-in and it can be picked up smoothly at nearby water source. The toilet is equipped with a new incineration toilet.

Great area for both hunting and fishing. About 6 kilometers to the city center. Nearest grocery store 3 kilometres. Knead sport 0.5 kilometres. Scooter, quad bike, etc. are arranged. Pool in summer. Guest house, extra room in garage. Great location itself on a mountain and yet close to everything.

Absolutely amazing. Exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and remote. Beautiful lake, cabin and surroundings. The host Åke is just wonderful. Thank you Åke!

If you want to come to paradise, come to Monika’s B&B, it’s simply charming. Beautifully, tastefully decorated, she paid attention to every little detail, gorgeous tiles in the bathroom of all the places, very comfortable bed, adorable sitting room, everything was just perfect. I felt that I was in the south of France. Delicious breakfast with fresh and local produce, farm eggs, fresh strawberry milkshake and much more . Breakfast was served in a beautifully decorated kitchen. And last but not least, Monika is a superstar - warm, charming, caring, so generous with her time, responds to every need. She was so nice, took time from her busy day and drove me to the place I was interested in visiting the following day so I don’t get lost and know where to go. Wonderful experience.
