Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ottenhöfen im Schwarzwald

Following a stay with friends at Europapark, we booked Rainer's place. There is nothing to say except that everything was superb. Host is responsive, caring and warm. The apartment is in very good condition and as described. The village is very friendly. We won't hesitate to come back.

We had a great family vacation here! Even though the weather was not as good, the house was just perfect for it! There was a lot of activities for the kids, the pool was warm and could be used easily even in the rain. The house is equipped so well, it feels very much like home right away. We can totally recommend it for a family trip! Thank you very much and we would love to come back!

This was probably one of our best stays in our travels. Like others have said, you feel at home straight away, not only because the charm of the place, but perhaps more importantly - how Anita makes you feel like a welcomed friend. Her recommendations for where to go were spot on: we enjoyed the restaurants, towns, shops, and pubs. Of course, we enjoyed the sauna and the tub. The kitchen amenities were fantastic. The beds were so cozy. The WiFi was fast (two of us working remotely without issue on video calls) and there was enough space without us worrying about hearing each other. Parking spot right out front. Washer/Dryer worked great. The location is in a quaint, walkable town. It's quiet. You can see the stars at night, hear the birds, and just take a breath to enjoy it all. This is one special place. We're already planning our return trip back. :)

We had a great stay! The space was perfect for our group of men who were out for hiking in the area. Everything went smoothly – from arrival to departure. The location was great, it was clean too, and we felt completely comfortable. A small suggestion for improvement: The hot tub is more comfortable for two people, not really for four – a larger model would be great here. The kitchen could also use a small upgrade, especially if you want to cook yourself more often. Overall, however, absolutely recommended – we'd love to come back!

Very satisfied, very nice apartment with attention to the smallest details, equipped with all amenities to make your stay as if you were at home. Isabelle is a kind and reserved hostess. The location of the apartment is very strategic as it is in the center between Strasbourg and Colmar so ideal for visiting, as in our case, all the fantastic Christmas markets. The area is very quiet and in the immediate vicinity there are all the necessary services. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The house is very large and perfect for families with young children. It was spotlessly clean, and you can tell that the host attaches great importance to details. He was also extremely kind and helpful. The location is quiet and ideal for anyone who wants to relax. The property is also ideally suited for larger groups, as there is enough room for everyone. We highly recommend this Airbnb and will be happy to come back!

We stayed with Falk in Alpirsbach as a family and had rented the entire house. There was more than enough space for all of us. We were able to eat and cook together. The location is fantastic, the house is wonderfully located on a hill in the middle of the forest, just outside Alpirsbach. We were woken up in the morning by the chirping of the birds. Pure relaxation. We enjoyed the days in the Swiss house very much.

We were in the house with 7 adults and 5 children (0-5 years) for 3 days. It was perfect for that! It was raining unfortunately. Sandrine lovingly provided toys for the little ones, so we were able to spend a great time in the house. She welcomed us very welcoming and gave us many recommendations for the area. In the large open kitchen it was very cozy and we felt very much at home. A great recommendation! We will be happy to come back.

Well located apartment, accessible by car with assigned parking space. The tram station is a short walk away and downtown is then a few stations away. We really appreciated the location of this apartment to enjoy a weekend in Strasbourg. This accommodation is well isolated from noise, quiet environment. The icing on the cake, the bakery a short walk away, perfect for breakfast!

Great area if you like to hike scenic trails and eat good food. Bakeries and high quality restaurants are walkable. A larger small town is also a 5 minute drive for shopping, etc. The guest house was in great shape. We had two meals in during our week and it had everything we needed. 1 bathroom, but there is an extra toilet as well off of the porch, which was nice. Regina was very friendly and responsive. 5 stars

Peaceful family house in a beautiful setting. The perfect escape for a family looking to unplug and enjoy nature. The playground and animals are perfect for kids and the host is friendly and helpful.

Erika's place is a peaceful oasis in the middle of nature, allowing you to deeply recharge your batteries. Tastefully decorated and featuring impressive kitchen equipment, the accommodation invites you to relax and unwind - especially on the sun loungers of the beautiful terrace when the sun is shining. Erika's little touches, always friendly but discreet, did not fail to delight us. The cleanliness of the accommodation is also impeccable. The accommodation is located in the middle of nature and the efficient "Nationalparkregion Schwarzwald" app allows you to find hiking trails nearby and adapted to your desires in the blink of an eye. We would have liked to stay even longer at Erika's. Thanks for everything!

We had a great time despite the rainy weather that wasn't there. Only 10 minutes from the golf de souffleheim where we had a competition. The house is large very functional and very pleasant with a very large green area. A foosball table for fun evenings. José welcomed us perfectly and remains available. We would definitely recommend Rebecca and Daniel's house.

Marie is a lovely lady living on the next door of the apartment. She is very sweet and friendly and happy to help when needed.

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

Estelle's mobile home was perfect for us - two days stay in Europa-Park. It was all very well maintained. The amenities were absolutely appropriate. We fully recommend the place.

The apartment is comfortably furnished and had everything you need. It was very clean. There were eight of us and we were fine. 2 sleeping places are the pull-out sofa in the living room. We also found all the space at the table. From the apartment you are within 10 minutes walk to the tram station. Bakeries and small supermarkets are also within walking distance. We would book it again!

Excellent welcome from Stéphane and his wife, very friendly who were able to tell us the good places in the area (restaurant, pastry baker, and above all an excellent caterer). Very good advice on the use of the Rhinau ferry for the crossing of the Rhine allowing very quick access to Europa Park. This large capacity cottage is also very well located for visiting Alsace and in particular the wine route. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to come back with family or friends . The accommodation was a success, it is very conveniently located in a residential area ideal for families, and clean. Quiet area integrated with nature. Totally recommended.

We (family with 2 children) spent 4 days in Herbolzheim. Yes, the deep sleep was very special to us. Usually our children cannot sleep in strange places. But in this very special rabbit construction, they slept through for 3 nights, were very refreshed and we big ones of course as well. The apartment is clean and well maintained. Particularly positive is the shared kitchen, which is functionally furnished and offers enough space for several people. The atmosphere in the house looks friendly and pleasant. The apartment is located in a quiet, pleasant environment, ideal for switching off. There are great adventures to experience nearby. Thomas gave us many great tips for the environment.
