Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ottawa River

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

Alvin's place was very warm and welcoming. You definitely feel at home and at peace while there. If you're looking for a private and quiet get away, this is the place.

Spacious and great amenities. The host was wonderful. Stayed during a snow storm and we were promptly snow plowed. Comfortable and very great to respond. This is my first time leaving a 5 star rating. Booked two more times this year!

Marla’s place was perfect for us. It is a clean, spacious and welcoming house, with friendly and easy to reach staff. The large kitchen is amazing…every appliance you could possibly want, and often two of them! The bedrooms are comfortable and well thought out to accommodate a large or more intimate group depending on the bed layouts you choose. The living room and dining area provide generous space and seating. And five bathrooms. Wow! The lake and surrounding area are gorgeous. The deck and dock are spacious with lots of seating, and the beach is sandy and private. There is no shortage of things to do… kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, badminton, ping pong to mention a few, and beautiful country roads to walk, run, cycle or drive along. It was a 25 minute drive into Westport where we thoroughly enjoyed music at the Cove Inn, the winery, the brewery and of course the shopping. There’s something for everyone here. I heartily recommend Marla’s place!

We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this immediately became one of our favorites. Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing hot tub and everything was super clean. The place was very comfortable for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities but hope to come back at some point for pickleball and kayaking.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was lovely. The hot tub was an added bonus and the space was great. If you’re planning to cook while you’re there make sure to bring all the basics you need (oil, butter, spices etc.) as there aren’t any available other than salt and pepper. Overall we had a great stay!

Loved my stay here! The place is modern, super clean, and feels very new. Big windows with a beautiful lake view—such a great way to start the day. Kitchen was fully stocked, and I loved having smart TVs in both the bedroom and living room. It’s only a 15-20 min drive to downtown, and check-in was super smooth with the code sent ahead of time. Would definitely come back!

A real little cocoon! The accommodation is cute, cozy, with beautiful river views. Conveniently located close to the village, it is a perfect place to recharge. The kitchen is small but very well equipped, it has everything you need. The host is super nice and welcoming — you immediately feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

What a beautiful place to stay! Close to Algonquin park where we got to see pine martens and later learned that they are also on the property! Awesome place to see northern lights. Zoe was so helpful and kind to talk to! Definitely will be coming back!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

The place was a little hard to find but Megan was SO helpful and guided us all the way there! The room was beautiful and the nature surrounding was so peaceful! It was a little cold so we had to wake up in the middle of the night to feed more wood to the fire. But other than that, this was an amazing stay and I'll definitely be coming back in the summer 😍
