Farmstay vacation rentals in Ottawa River

We really enjoyed the house. It was very nice and peaceful. Christina was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place is very aesthetically pleasing and cozy. I like the vintage feel to it. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting in upstate New York. The next time I visit the area I’m absolutely booking here again. The fall foliage was definitely a plus. Huge thanks to Christina we really appreciate it.

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

We had a great stay at the guest cabin. The place was very clean and well stocked. It is evident that Ryan and Bryan took time to think about the small details which goes a long way for the guests. The hosts were very responsive and even organized an early check-in for us. It truly was a perfect stay. A big thank you to Ryan and Bryan for everything. We hope to have them host us again sometime soon.

We reserved the Hideaway and Nomad Cabins for 3 nights, and had a wonderfly tranquil experience. The kayak launch is a couple minutes drive away, and there are various hiking trails on the property to explore. A huge highlight of our stay was the outdoor showers! But if people feel more comfortable, there is a indoor shower in the public restroom. Additionally, the view of the stars without light pollution was absolutely amazing. Hosts were always accomodating, kind, and very quick to respond to respond to all inquiries.

We loved David's home and felt at home during our stay. The area is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. We felt the hosts were responsive, accessible, and helpful. The home is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic place. Family & I loved it. The hot tub was our favorite part but everything else was also superb! Thank you Josée for the wonderful stay.

It definitely exceeded our expectations!! Such a cozy and beautiful place. It’s so well thought of because there were games, utensils, books and more. Debbie was quick to respond and suggested great things to do around. A hidden gem for sure. Would highly recommend and return to this place.

Caroline is a wonderful host and her house has everything you need to feel right at home. The farm is a short drive away from the creature comforts but is located in a peaceful, rural area. It is such a unique experience being able to stay overnight on a functioning alpaca farm, getting to see the behind the scenes operation of the farm and getting to see the alpacas from when the first get outside in the morning until they're put in their pens for the night. It is an especially fantastic experience for little ones. Caroline was available any time and was so kind and accommodating.

Was a pleasant stay. Host was pleasant. Free range chickens were non-alarming and unique touch. Nice appointments throughout the place. Beds were comfortable and the entire unit was spacious.

Claire and Matt’s place was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming, cozy place to stay (especially coming in from the winter cold). The cabin is beautifully renovated, perfectly balancing modern comforts with original charm. Breakfast was divine, offered in a dining area adjacent to the private space where we got to meet their friendly Great Dane, Fortuna. Our only regret was not requesting the three course dinner— next time! :)

Pravena was an outstanding host!! She was responsive and made our group feel so comfortable. The Peninsula Cottage was such a great getaway for our group of friends and we loved every minute of our time there. Highly reccomend!

Had an amazing stay at Mylene’s place! It was cozy, spacious, and had beautiful views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities made everything so easy and enjoyable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Wow is the perfect word to describe Hamid's accommodation. This getaway definitely exceeded our expectations. The house is absolutely comfortable with more than enough amenities and accommodations for our group. Everyone was so comfortable and the home was perfectly prepped for us. Hamid is also very responsive and so kind. He offered us freshly picked veggies from the garden and Eggs from his chickens. So kind. We're definitely coming back!!!

We had such an amazing stay. Mercy went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. We will definitely be staying here again when we come visit in the fall.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was peaceful, cozy and exactly what we needed for a weekend. The inside was warm and inviting with the fire place already fired up upon arrival. The sauna was also already stoked and ready to go which we jumped in immediately. We did not want to leave. Very unique spot and would definitely visit again!

This is a cozy, clean, and beautiful cottage where we had a wonderful weekend with our friends. The host was excellent—very responsive and accommodating. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free. The only downside was the late check-in time (3 PM) and early check-out time (10 AM), which felt a bit restrictive. Overall, it was a great experience!

Very nice cottage for 2 people with all the amenities and even the fondue dish. Wonderful lake view. Ability to make a fire inside or outside. The decor is modern and cozy. Space is adequate for 2 people. A lot of privacy from the neighboring chalets even if they are glued. The area is very quiet and really a place to rest. In the evening, the little lights turn on on their own and also turn off on their own which makes it romantic. 15 minute drive from Ste Agathe to go shopping or eat at the restaurant. Our host is very receptive and responds quickly to all our questions.. Comfortable bed with enough blankets and pillows. Guidelines are clear. I would highly recommend the place with a good value

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 and 4 year olds. The chalet is perfect and very well equipped for toddlers, with lots of extra touches that make all the difference: toys and bath books, pretty pet bath towels, high quality chair, stuffed animals, nice night lights and even small robes they really loved! The trails that leave directly from the back of the cottage are perfect for walking with young children and going there to greet the horses every time was a magical moment. Relaxing in the spa during the children's siesta allowed us to relax and the multitude of birds to observe (and listen!) during this time greatly contributes to the charm of these moments. The hosts are warm and very available and the farm visit with Laurie was really nice: our boy told us about it every day! This stay will be one of our family's lovely memories and we hope to come back!

We had the most wonderful time at Dan and Voula’s lovely rental. Their space was pristine, so well stocked and had so many thoughtful touches. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. A very tastefully decorated and cozy space that was a hit with our whole group. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linens. Everything was just perfect. Thank you so much for hosting us.

This is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed at! The cottage is stunning and looks even better in person than in the photos. It easily accommodated our big group. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for meals, coffee, etc. We had rainy weather but there were so many indoor activities that we were entertained the whole time. James was very responsive and wonderful to deal with. I would definitely come back and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful cottage getaway!

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!
