We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

The house was so beautiful, beds very comfortable, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It was a very comfortable and relaxing home. The host was just wonderful, always available and communicated kindly. We will be back again as our stay was just so wonderful!

Very nice house sleeps four very comfortable

Amber, Nana’s Cookie Cottage is the most magical little Airbnb home I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. All of your nana’s love still fills the home and you can feel it as soon as you step inside. I can’t imagine how awful it must be to be some of the select few people who come through as guests and complain about the extra touch of love throughout the home. Their loss, for sure. 10/10, I’d recommend this home to anyone who is looking to feel right at home; just like grandma’s house. The place was perfect for a peaceful getaway in nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus and helped us relax after a full day. The surrounding area was quiet and surrounded by forest, which made it easy to disconnect from the city. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Thank you for the hospitality — we would gladly come back again!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this piece of history. The property is beautiful and very private. You can tell the owners care about the home and maintaining its history. This was hands down the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at an Airbnb! Lots of linens and towels back ups provided. We had one rain day and we had fun playing many of the games made available to us. (which are countless) We now also want a mini pool table lol. Being able to get in the hot tub after a long day of hiking also was incredible. We will definitely be back!

My daughter found this place for us to meet half way from each other. We arrived first and it was so clean and welcoming, even a nice bottle of wine. I’m very particular with cleanliness and it met my expectations. Everyone loved the quaintness of the house! Love the way they updated without taking away from the original look of everything. We totally loved the setting in the quiet woods and utilized the yard and the fire pit. The hot tub was a great plus, as the adults and kids alike enjoyed it! We made great memories here and will definitely consider staying here again!

Great spot if you have a group of ~8. We didn’t want for anything (plenty of dishes, filtered water, well stocked kitchen, ect) and everyone was able to be included in each space. Large dining table was great for sharing meals and playing games. After a long day of hiking the hot tub was a welcome addition and was very clean/well maintained.

Great place, very cosy, remote and peaceful. Full bed, lots of blankets, hot shower, kitchen stocked with utensils, and a lovely sitting room. This is an upstairs apartment from a home but it still feels private. Samuel gave us a tour of the farm- such an inspiring place, and a fascinating story. We were honored to visit and can’t wait to come back in the spring!

it was nice, clean and modern. only 2 bedrooms and the second bedroom has 4 beds. 2 on the ground floor and 2 up in a loft. would have liked a bit more space but it's good.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly cozy and spotless, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We loved the convenience of being located right on the main road, which made it easy to access nearby stores and attractions. One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the hot tub – it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

A wonderful cottage just a few minutes away from Starved Rock State Park. The cottage is very modern, private, and comfortable. Also, Amy is very friendly and extremely responsive to messages. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and private stay with plenty of room.

Had a great stay at Hungry World Farms! Beautiful countryside and located close to downtown Princeton with lots of cute shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Dragonfly Landing was a great place to stay. It was easy to find and directions were spot on. The decor inside was very well done and made it feel very homey. They have everything you can think of available in the kitchen/bath/bedrooms although we didn’t use too much of it. What we did need they had. We wanted a place we could bring out 4 legged kids and the settled in easily. The only negative was being so close the railroad tracks but we knew it when we booked and it was a very minor piece of our stay. We would highly recommend.
