It is recommended not only for those who want to relax in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Currently, accommodation is available from June 29th to July 3rd, and this is the time when you can see many fireflies nearby. Would you like to enjoy the new greenery, BBQ, and sauna in quiet Shinshu before the summer vacation? Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. It can accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. There is a laundry machine and a bathroom with a dryer for a comfortable extended stay. You can get here by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient in this area. If you come by train, there may not be a taxi, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Free pick up and drop off is available from Akeshi Station and Shinano-Matsukawa Station. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. Surrounded by birdsong and clear air, we have created a special space where you can relax and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The interior is compact but has a calm space where you can feel the warmth of the wood, and you can enjoy the seasonal appearance of the forest from the window.Wake up in the morning to the light of the mountains and spend the night gazing at the starry sky. It is also ideal as a base for skiing, backcountry, hiking, and forest walks, and is recommended for couples and partners who want to stay in harmony with nature. It is also the center of Hakuba Village, and you can spend a special time in the quiet of the Northern Alps. You can stay here as a summer resort during the summer season from July to September. There is a cool breeze of around 20°C during the day, so you might want to have something to wear in the morning and evening.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
