Waterfront vacation rentals in Ostholstein

Great place to stay in the countryside! We spent 3 nights visiting Hamburg - the former waterworks is an original accommodation directly on the banks of the Elbe (even if you can only see the Elbe from the outermost corner of the window...). The building makes a freshly renovated impression, everything is tip-top. Although you are not far from the center of Hamburg, you will find yourself absolutely in the countryside, in a quiet environment. And the center of Blankenese is within walking distance, with shops, cafes, bars and S-Bahn. We were very pleased!

We stayed 5 days or 4 nights in the apartment and felt very comfortable. The perfect apartment for 2 persons. Everything is very clean, right on the promenade and yet easily accessible by car and free parking right by the house. The highlight, however, is the fantastic view directly of the sea. So we can only agree with the many positive reviews - we will be happy to come back!

I can only praise my stay with Samir in the highest terms! From the first contact to check-out, everything was absolutely smooth. Samir is an incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive host – you can immediately tell that he really cares about the well-being of his guests. The place was exactly as described – if not better! Super clean, tastefully decorated, equipped with everything you need, and in a great location. The loving atmosphere was particularly beautiful, which immediately made the place feel like home. Samir always responded quickly, gave helpful tips about the area and was always available for questions. You feel really welcome and in good hands with him. I would come back anytime and highly recommend Samir and his accommodation. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

We stayed in the apartment over the weekend and felt really comfortable! Everything was super clean and totally cozy. The location is also great: the beach is not far away, and there are several playgrounds nearby – perfect if you are traveling with children.

Lea is a totally lovely hostess. She was always easily accessible, communication with her was impeccable. The apartment was amazing, we felt right at home, everything was clean, the view from the balcony was great. We'd love to come back :)

Very nice place. Lots of space for our group. Close walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. Ulrike was very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

The stay was very nice. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and as described. The location of the apartment is unbeatable. Communication with Sabine was straightforward and very friendly. Check-in as well as check-out were unproblematic. There's even a parking space that belongs to the apartment. We will be happy to come back.

We had a really nice and relaxing holiday. The vacation rental was super clean. The kitchen is top equipped. Top location. The little guests were also thought of. 🙂 We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back!

Cute house in a holiday complex. Needed a quiet weekend just like that. Everything we needed was there and it was nice and clean. Communication was quick and friendly and a later check-in was possible for a small surcharge.

Unforgettable time in this beautiful house! Not a day went by when we were not fascinated by the house, garden and nature. Felt immediately comfortable and welcome. Information and excursion tips summarized in a book were super helpful. The garden is a dream for children (and adults!) - large with trampoline, swings, sandbox and fireplace. Personal greeting card and fresh flowers in the house pleased us. House fully equipped, on request with bed linen and towels. The area offers many activities: Karl-May-Festspiele, kayaking and bike tours, hiking and relaxing on lakes. We often used binoculars to observe animals. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back!"

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage by the lake! The surroundings are pure paradise! We are there - surrounded by the wonderful old trees, the view of the lake and the many bird sounds - immersed in nature and have recovered, as we have not done for a long time. We were with nine people for an extended weekend in this really nice and tastefully decorated house. The location is quiet and close to nature. Nothing was missing, the kitchen is also very well equipped. We all liked it very much and I would definitely recommend it.

Somewhere this special is rare to find, truly unique. The property is very private with beautiful views. The large windows in the living room connect the home to the water in a special way. Host was an excellent communicator, always replied immediately.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was just as described – very clean, well prepared and in a wonderfully quiet location. The private lake was a real highlight and made our stay perfect. Host Martin was very friendly and always responded quickly to our questions. Clear recommendation!

The accommodation is great with a very good connection to the local bus network. Communication with Magdalena was very quick and friendly. The personal welcome at the apartment was very warm and it was great that we were able to postpone our check-in time again. The apartment is very clean, super equipped and has a particularly great, large and very cozy balcony. Overall highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable with Kirsten from the beginning. When we arrived, a small bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine were ready for us. In the evening, she greeted us personally and gave us good tips for activities. She was always available for questions and concerns and always helped us. I was in Kiel for 5 weeks for work and I loved the accommodation! Thanks to the great weather, I was able to enjoy the sunset from the balcony every evening. The apartment is very nice and above all practically furnished. The beach is right outside the door and shopping was a breeze within a few minutes by car. Thanks to the private parking space, parking was always possible without any problems. The hosts were super friendly and always immediately available. If I have to go to Kiel again, I would definitely choose this accommodation again!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.

We had a wonderful few days in the apartment. Close to a forest with its own terrace. The apartment is far from the center, but is excellent public transport.

Mieke and Christian welcomed us in a very friendly way and showed us the great garden with the animals. It was the ideal accommodation for us - Park&Ride station easily accessible and good S-Bahn S2 ride to the city. We did sightseeing during the day and our children had a nice balance to the city bustle in the evening. My children will certainly not forget the ride on the Schwalbe so quickly :) We will be happy to come back if we are drawn to the area again.

Very nice apartment with everything you need to feel good, including a great view of the open sea and the bay! We felt very comfortable and look forward to being guests at Claudia's next time.☺️🤗

The apartment is perfect and exactly as in the photos. From the balcony, you have a beautiful view of the Eimsbüttler Weiher and the middle of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Hamburg. We highly recommend the place and would come back anytime!
