Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ostholstein

We spent two beautiful days in the bright and friendly apartment – together with my girlfriend's four-year-old daughter. The apartment was clean, welcoming and cozy, so we felt right at home. The parking fees in the parking garage are not without, but the wellness area and especially the swimming pool delighted us. The location couldn't be better either: the sea is almost right outside the door! We were able to enjoy the water, stroll along the promenade and browse the many small shops. All round, a successful short trip

I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this house. It’s like something out of a movie. The photos are great but once you get there you will be blown away by the decor and the technology. The hosts were very helpful and proactive with how the house operates. Which is especially helpful as this house has a bit of a learning curve with its technological systems. Very cool though once you get to grips with it. A stunning experience all around and would definitely go back!

WOW!!! What an incredibly beautiful, unique oasis! We immediately felt at home. we were kindly welcomed by Massud who is one of the greatest and most generous hosts we have ever met. The apartment is incredibly cosy, the jacuzzi pure luxury, and the icing on the cake is the wonderful garden. We spent the mornings and evenings sitting outside, enjoying life. Supernice area, loads of nice restaurants, shops, walkable, relaxed. Highly recommended!!

We enjoyed it very much. The house is very nice and we lacked nothing. Fiona was quick to respond to any questions and was accommodating. The path to the beach ( a beautiful lagoon), the children felt a little long at 10-15 minutes and would have liked to have a scooter or bike with them. But were only there for 2 nights, otherwise we would probably have borrowed bicycles for the beautiful area.

Markus apartment is a great choice if you're looking for something very central and in a lovely location. The apartment is airy and spacious and exactly as the photos. Markus gave clear instructions and made sure everything was in order through messages before arrival.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

The house was fantastic for our extended Easter weekend with 7 people. 3 bedrooms with en suite were super comfortable. The kitchen was very nicely large and very extensively equipped with dishes as well as cooking utensils. Excursions to the beach, to Lübeck and to Travemünde as well as the garden were a lot of fun for us. Nina was always easily accessible and responded promptly to all our questions and requests. That was a great weekend which we can wholeheartedly recommend without reservations.

Wonderfully spacious apartment, very nice beds, large bathroom. Great location in relation to Lübeck and the golf course. Had a good two days. For the Dutch: no cheese slicer😉. Nothing else missing

We spontaneously wanted to visit our family vacationing near Dahme/Grömitz and needed accommodation for three days: Communication with Yvonne was great - quick answers, very friendly, flexible (allowed to take our two dogs), detailed information on arrival and stay. Shortly before, a fence was even completed so that our dogs could move freely outside 😍👍🏼 The apartment is small but nice - very appealing and cozy. It has everything you need, it was very clean, plus a great view of the adjacent meadows incl. Observation of hares & Co. You have your own entrance, directly in front of it a parking space for the car and your own terrace with a small fenced garden area. We felt very comfortable and would book with Yvonne again! 😃

The house is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation with many friends or the extended family. The house is so big that you don't even notice that you're there with 12 people. And if everyone comes together for dinner, everyone still finds a place at the huge dining table. The furnishings are extremely stylish. I'll be returning home inspired.

My family and I had such a great time on the houseboat!! We felt very comfortable right from the start and will definitely come back… It is definitely a very special experience!!!!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful 11 night stay in Gut Marutendorf. Our apartment was a 2 bedroom unit on the second floor with a small kitchen and a bathroom. The view from all rooms was over the beautifully manicured bucolic grounds. Staying in Gut M. gives you access to the extensive nature trails of the Westensee nature preserve. This nature area includes some of the few old growth forests in Northern Germany as well as moors and fields. In the late spring, the scenery was incredibly beautiful. The ancient oaks along the paths directly in the property alone are worthy of the trip. During the bulk of our stay, we were able to soak in the beautiful environment in solitude, though the very social barnyard cats provided amusing company. Gut M. is a perfect example of the under appreciated beauty of N. German countryside, only a few miles from Kiel. It provides a beautifully maintained sylvan location for a very affordable price. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a peaceful vacation.

Unfortunately, our short trip to Barendorf was over far too quickly! We felt very comfortable there - the apartment is very cozy and well maintained, and rarely have I experienced such a well-equipped kitchen in an apartment. We also enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool extensively. If you love peace and quiet and don't need the hustle and bustle of the typical holiday resorts, Bastian's apartment is just right: you can relax there so well!

With the kindness and helpfulness of Laila and her mother, as well as in the lovingly furnished apartment, we felt almost at home (only the refrigerator could be a little bigger). The sauna, the shower, and in good weather the pool, surrounded by the beautiful green garden were the highlights.

A super nice, very clean and very lovingly furnished mini apartment with great views from the balcony. Edith is an excellent host, always available for questions and has thought of everything from robotic vacuum cleaner to baking paper. There's nothing missing. On the contrary, the detailed equipment gives the apartment a beautiful, personal touch and the very special extra touch. We can fully recommend Edith and will be happy to come back!

If you are looking for a few days of peace and relaxation, this is the place to have breakfast in a park among fruit trees with sensational views of a water lilies, early in the morning you have the chance to see a kingfisher while bathing, behind the house a beautiful stream, as far as the eye can see fields meadows and forest . Beautiful natural beach 15 min boltenhagen 30 min Lübeck or Wismar 45 min! Wi-Fi poorly the nearest baker 15 minutes away - didn't matter to us! Absolutely recommended!

Wonderfully spacious vacation home in a very quiet area and a very quiet village. So you have to take into account that you have to go a little further away for daily shopping. You can also combine these errands with the trips you make. Because from this location you are quickly in Schwerin, but also in a number of nature reserves where you can hike well. For us, it was nice that we could charge our electric car at Kathrin's door. Kathrin responded quickly and clearly to our questions. A successful stay.

We spent the turn of the year in Schönhagen with peace and convenience. The apartment is located not far from the beach and is equipped with everything you need. We used the sauna in the basement to ourselves. The place is a good starting point for numerous excursions, especially even in warmer weather by bike. Thanks to Jan for the nice welcome.

Wolfgang and Carola welcomed us in a very friendly way. They were flexible and extremely nice. The place was great for us. The double bed in the separate bedroom was very cozy. The bathroom is quite narrow, but in a very clean and good condition. We didn't use the kitchen knives, but everything important seemed to be there. In addition to the kitchen knife, the second room offered enough space for a dining table and a living area with a folding sofa bed. The location is very quiet and the large garden a true oasis. For our purposes, the location was great, but otherwise it is a residential area with manageable offers. We will be happy to come back!
