Vacation rentals with lake access in Österåker Municipality

Excellent house with incredible views, outside space was spacious and south-facing, very peaceful. Inside, very modern and great space for larger groups. Perfect for our family reunion and had everything we needed. Adam was a great host, even picked up our luggage on arrival from ferry, very much appreciated. Sauna on the jetty is a major highlight too, lovely evenings spent watching the sunset. The island shop is also well stocked and a short walk. Thank you to Adam for making our holiday a truly memorable experience.

The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Pontus is incredibly response with any questions asked and if we required anything. We all had the best stay and couldn’t recommend this place more!

We came in from Galveston Texas, to visit with family & friends. We booked Matt’s place because it was close to my family. Omg, it was a beautiful location. So peaceful. We were so rejuvenated after we got there after a long flight. Perfect place to come to after the hectic days. If & when we come in again, we will be calling on y’all. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful time at Harry's place! The views are spectacular and the pictures don't match the real experience. The house is very cozy and all amenities one could need are there. In particular, our children loved the place and the location on the island. There are numerous spots to hide and to explore, several toys for the sea etc etc. Harry was a very responsive and generous host who helped us with all the little issues that we did come up with. We would certainly love to come back!

This is a truly beautiful hideaway with fantastic hosts! The house is modern and very comfortable, perfectly suited to relax. Remember you are on an island - If you love spending time near and on the water, this place is for you!

Marie was helpful and responsive. Her home is gorgeous. It was a perfect place for a getaway with friends. The house has a few larger areas to hang out plus a beautiful kitchen. The yard was also away from the road which was comforting with smaller kids. There is a pool at a neighboring property which was a bit of a surprise (we didn't want a pool close by with small kids) but it was easy to monitor that as well and it had a fence around it. We would love to stay here again!

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

Best stay ever!!! It was incredibly beautiful, so I spontaneously extended it another week. The house is so cute, cozy, perfectly equipped and exceptionally clean! Upon arrival, Robert and Diana showed me the surroundings. The two are so warm and always available on site and by message and incredibly helpful. They give great tips for things to do, restaurants, etc. The lake is really right outside the door, very clean and great for swimming. I could borrow the SUP at any time. The sea is also just 2 minutes away. I will never forget the days there and left with a heavy heart. I've rarely had such a perfect place to stay! THANK YOU!

Great place to stay, very comfortable and with the boardwalk a couple of minutes away walking, you can really have yourself a relaxing time in this apartment

Beautiful apartment in a lovely area, very responsive and helpful host

We stayed at Christian and Jaquemine's place for 30 days, and it was our first Airbnb experience. The flat is in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood. The nearby areas are perfect for hiking, with beautiful lakes, islets, beaches, and green forests with deer and other wildlife. Although the location seems far from the city on the map, frequent buses to Slussen take just 30 minutes, making it easy to reach the city centre whenever we wanted. I worked remotely during our stay, and the internet connection and workspace were excellent. The flat has everything one might need, and we never had issues wanting specific items, making it ideal for longer stays. I slept in both sleeping areas, and both were comfortable and spacious. The hosts were welcoming and kind. When my flight was postponed, they kindly offered to store my luggage even after check-out. They provided many thoughtful offers, showing how helpful and caring they are. I have no complaints and highly recommend it!

The host has always been available for our requests. The house is very comfortable and close to a beautiful lake. The center is easily accessible by public transport

The place is beautiful . Extremely clean, comfortable and warm. The yard behind is lush green and we saw deer on both days! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities possible . Highly recommend their space .

Very beautiful house, surroundings and quiet nature. Our expectations were exceeded. You just need to know that the ferry is the island’s only infrastructure. The schedule can be sparse, especially off season. Pragmatic and easy to reach hosts.

Simple and easy to connect with Mats.

The Sea Cottage was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The jetty for me was the stand out though- just sitting with a drink and watching the sun go down. We really enjoyed our stay in tranquil surroundings. Well worth a visit.

We ended our 15-day trip to Sweden in the most beautiful way with this little week at Jan's. We immediately felt comfortable in the house, whether it was the adults or our 3-year-old daughter. The calm is perfect, the house is excellently equipped and Jan's small touches complete this idyllic picture. Small bonus, the boat lent by Jan (with life jackets in multiple sizes) allows for walks and even fishing trips (here too, equipment provided)! We had a vehicle, but the proximity of the bus terminal allows you to reach either the small supermarket in 5 minutes or the Vaxholm pier in 30 minutes with a connection. The calm is absolute, and the deer visit the garden (huge!) morning and evening. To top it all off, Jan is a welcoming and present host without being intrusive, one of the very best of our Airbnb and other experiences. He made our stay unforgettable!

Second time in the lake cottage and we will gladly come back. Incredibly cozy, fantastic location and wonderful to get away from the city for a while. Joe made us feel very welcome and even asked the neighbor to turn off his high-frequency bird repeller for us. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in this cute cottage in a real archipelago idyll. The kitchen had everything you needed and the bed was fresh with probably very new mattresses and blankets. The sauna was a big plus and it was great that we got to borrow the boat to row around with. Gabriel was very helpful and nice.
