The stay was very nice. The house is a dream and you will find everything you need for your stay and as described. Communication with Maria was also straightforward and she was always helpful. We felt right at home and would definitely come back!

Pierre's house is truly a “gem in the Stockholm archipelago”. The house is large, very nicely cut and has the "certain something". The highlight is the very nicely made sauna overlooking the water. It can also be illuminated nicely at night. Paddle boat and stand up paddle complete it all. There is another house on the property, which is also rented out. Sometimes very nice people and we got along well. We had a fantastic week and would love to come again anytime. Communication with Pierre was also very pleasant and we got valuable tips.

Amazing place, we had a great time and it’s the perfect getaway for a holiday. Amazing views and location!

We spent the most wonderful week at Mats place allowing us to recharge and connect with the peaceful nature of Sweden's archipelago. Mats' house as a beautiful view onto the sea and it's evident that a great deal of care and love went into this place. We would love to come back at some point. Thank you Mats :)

We stayed two nights with Lena and Richard in their nice and very charming house in early June 2025. The house is small but has the amenities needed and is fantastically located right by the water. Sitting at the edge of the dock under the alder tree is almost like being abroad. Lena and Rochard are very nice, thoughtful and care about the guests having a good time. Top hosts, simply, and we will gladly come again.

We had a wonderful time at Harry's place! The views are spectacular and the pictures don't match the real experience. The house is very cozy and all amenities one could need are there. In particular, our children loved the place and the location on the island. There are numerous spots to hide and to explore, several toys for the sea etc etc. Harry was a very responsive and generous host who helped us with all the little issues that we did come up with. We would certainly love to come back!

The house standard is high and the location is beautiful. It’s the perfect get away! The only thing that wasn’t clear in description was that 1 bedroom is “inside” the other bedroom, so not fully private. We certainly recommend the stay.

I was in this beautiful house with a couple of friends to relax after the first of our master. We really liked the house and the environment. Only the shower was a bit scary in the basement, but we all got used to it fast. Sofie is very nice, and I'm glad about the fast answers that I got for my questions. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the house on the beautiful quiet island. All of us said we would definitely come back next year or sooner.

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. We stayed at Kalle’s place in 8 - 2 families with teenagers. The house was perfect, the kids enjoyed the pool and the SUP (as well as we did!). Great evenings on the terrace and at the fireplace, barbecues every night… Kalle is an excellent host, extremely helpful, full of resources and advice. He suggested a concert in the neighborhood, a swimming sauna and boat trip which we enjoyed a lot! We found ourselves part of a neighborhood of very welcoming people. Alternating visits of Stockholm and days by/on the water was ideal for our group and nearby Waxholm is a great starting point for exploring the arcipelago. We strongly recommend the place and were very sorry to leave!

Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

Great and communicative host!

Anna‘s Place is very charming and has a high personal touch which made us feel welcomed right away. Everything was super clean and well equipped and we did not miss anything. The communication with Anna was super friendly and immediate. We would definitely rent this place again. Perfect to escape the city!

We spent 5 nights in Christina's place, a home as described, a little paradise lost in nature. We were on foot, but, loving to walk (20 minutes from the bus stop) it was no problem for us. Thank you for the loan of the bikes and canoe that allowed us to discover Vaxholm and the surrounding islands, differently and autonomously! Christina was a great host. It was a great!

Eva and her family were very welcoming hosts. We had everything we needed and more during our stay at their beautiful and special place. We even enjoyed a bath in the pool. We had a lovely view from the terrace and the surrounding is also nice and green and with good restaurants. Thank you for having us!

We came right before the season began, so things were extra quiet! The host met us at the bus stop which was a short walk away and VERY easy to navigate. He was so helpful when we wanted to go explore other islands and if something wasn’t in the rental space he got it for us! Also, I wish the states took note of FLOATING SAUNAS!!! That was such a dream!

We booked the accommodation for our trip to the Stockholm region and were not disappointed. The small but nice accommodation is as described and there is all there to feel comfortable. The location is unique and the view of the sea beautiful. Thank you so much for our friendly hosts.

We had a super nice stay! The house are beautiful and cozy. We traveled a lot by boat on the quiet lake. Everything was super clean, well equipped and Janina was always quick to reach. Shopping is a little further away. So you should plan your purchases a little beforehand. We would come back anytime!

A gorgeous, peaceful personal home with all the amenities you need in a country house. A short drive to a small beach and dock to jump from. A Swedish dream. Great for a family or a group of friends. Loved the cliffs on the property. Free car ferries take you from main land to this island (Yxlan) and also further out to the next island (Blidö). Thank you Christelle! Look forward to our next visit.

We had a great stay at the lovely well equipped cottage of Per and Benita. They even have a tosti toaster. We walked and cycled around the island and had a great dinner at Jeppes as recommended by Per. We loved this back to nature experience with outdoor (Hot!) shower and toilet. We experienced that the coordinates of the house on airb&b are not correct. Still the cottage is easy to find since it lays along the (very quiet) road and looks exactly like the pictures. When you leave the island check in advance the ferry timetable to see if you have to book the ferry in advance.

Sune (the host) was really nice, helpful and kind. Answered all our questions. Showed us around the Vaxholm city and personally showed us around nice places. The place is amazing, very spacious, more than enough for a families as well. Access to city is close and also has a very nice spot closeby to the house to spend time on the waterside. Very nice garden with car parking and has badminton kits to play. we totally recommend Sune and his place for all couples and families. Very pleasant stay.

We had wonderful, relaxing 3 nights at Karin's. She was super nice, always answered directly and even gave us tea and cookies. Everything was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable and would book again immediately for a weekend break in Sweden. ☺️

I went to Tove's cabin with my sister and our two dogs and we had a great time! The main house is a bit bigger than in the pictures and the atmosphere was great, you can really tell that Tove loves her place and takes good care of it. The garden has lots of little vignettes that we loved and different sitting areas to enjoy the sun at different times of the day! The sauna was amazing as it is quite big and heats really well. Tove was very informative about the house and the experience we had there was unforgettable. I really hope we can go back some time!
