The cottage is located in a rural location about 5 km from Åkersberga and 25 km to Stockholm. Private car is needed even if it is possible to travel by public transport. Here you can fish, hike Roslagsleden, play golf, padel, etc. in the nearby area. In the winter time you can go long-distance skating and cross-country skiing. The upstairs has an open floor plan and is suitable for a couple or a family.

The small house by the meadows, forest and sea.

Welcome to stay next door to moose and deer. In this little cozy house, you live on your own plot at the top of Frejs Backe. The plot has a large balcony around three sides of the house, with sun for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the house there is a large lawn suitable for play and games. The surroundings consist of meadows and beautiful forest. 200 meters to the swimming jetty and 800 meters to the cliffs and beach in the evening sun. The kitchen has a stove, oven, fridge & freezer and microwave. One bedroom has a bunk bed and in the living room there is a fireplace.

Husarö - small cottage with great charm and top location

A small cottage for those who like sea views and beautiful surroundings. The cottage offers a wide bed and a narrow sofa bed that together provide sleeping space for up to three people. You have access to a private kitchenette with fridge, a private toilet and a shared outdoor hot shower. An open two-person kayak is available to borrow. On the island, there is a small shop and during the summer also a bar, located about a kilometer from the cottage. Booking is for at least two nights. Bed linen and towels can be offered for a fee of SEK 200 per person

Sjöstugan.

Relax on the western island of Strängarna in Saxarfjärden in the Stockholm Archipelago. The house is secluded and is 40 sqm plus loft, next to the water. Private jetty below the house. Access to wood heated sauna with fully tiled shower room. The toilet is an incineration toilet, "Cinderella". Vaxholmsbåt from Stockholm goes to several islands nearby. The nearest mainland is Lillsved in northern Värmdö. Transportation to the island from Lillsved or a nearby steamboat dock is arranged at cost (500:-/tour) if needed.

Completely renovated summer house in central Stockholm Archipelago. The house was completed in 2021. The house is located on Stora Elgö with good communications to the mainland. Vaxholm is about 15 and Stockholm 45 minutes away by own boat. Archipelago boats from Stockholm via Vaxholm run about three times per day. The island is 40 ha big and has a walking loop of about 3 km. In addition to the private jetty, there are good opportunities for cutting & beach bathing in the immediate area.

This newly built house is our "Seaview getaway". It is ideal for two persons, but it can sleep 3. From your bedroom with a comfortable queensized bed, you will have a stunning view over the archipelago and the cruiseships. In the evening you can also enjoy the jacuzzi. This is a perfect place to get away, dream, rest, breathe and be a part of the archipelago area in a exclusive setting. Kayak rental is available from our private pier. The house is on the mainland and easy to reach by car.

Style meets simplicity in the lovingly restored Jaktstuga (‘Hunter’s Cabin’) built in 1803. Swim in our locals-only lake (3 minute stroll away - borrow our stand up paddle boards and kayaks), chop wood for your fire, spot eagles and deer in the neighbouring forest, explore the archipelago or explore Stockholm (c.30 mins by car, 50 by public transport). ”Dunderbacken” is a newly built house with good social spaces, modern kitchen, shower, toilet, washing machine and fast unlimited WiFi. Nearby there are nice rock baths in the sea and the area is surrounde with smal islands with birds and seals. Kayaks are for rent if you want to visit the islands. Our yard has direct connection to a larger nature reserve with untouched nature and swimming lakes as well as sea/harbour nearby.
