This unique house was built at the end of the 18th century by a noble family of the Berry province. It remains in the same family. It is 10km away from Bourges, which was for a few years, during the one Hundred Years’ War the capital of France. It had one of the most impressive cathedral, listed in the world heritage list of the UNESCO, and a unique civil gothic palace, the “palais Jacques cœur. Nearby are the famously vineyards of Menetou-Salon and Sancerre.

Welcome to this old farmhouse! These buildings are new life thanks to a complete renovation, including the addition of a pool. The bias was to keep as much authentic as possible with the use of noble materials such as beams, tiles, exposed stone walls, oak flooring... Welcome to Fontenay . Our family castle in the center of Berry region. It is situated at the center of a large estate, close to a peaceful village. The castle itself is surrounded by a pristine 10-hectares park. The island of calm and serinity is an ideal setting for family or friends' reunions, seminars and easely serves as a base to discover our region (see below).
