Villa vacation rentals in Orvieto

Abbiamo passato la settimana di Ferragosto in questa residenza da sogno nel mezzo dell'Umbria. L'host, molto gentile e reattiva, ci ha messo in contatto con la persona che gestisce la casa, Elisabetta, che ha saputo fornirci tutte le indicazioni richieste ed aiutarci in tutto. Abbiamo trovato la casa in ottime condizioni, è molto spaziosa ed accogliente, con diverse opzioni tra barbecue e cucine. La zone è molto affascinante, in quanto si trova tra le colline umbre e permette di visitare i fantastici paesini intorno (consigliato portarsi la macchina). Infine la piscina era pulita giornalmente da Valerio, che si prendeva cura anche delle piante nel giardino e si occupava di svuotare la spazzature (grazie mille ancora). Per concludere, soggiorno più che piacevole.

In reality villas present themselves a lot prettier than in photos on website. The area and surroundings are beautiful, calm and quite. Place is perfect as exit basis for exploring and sightseeing Tuscany. Rooms and beds are adequately big and clean. Kitchen and utensils are in sufficient quantity. Pool is clean, water warm. There’s no need for a battle for lawn chairs. Jacopo is very helpfull, communicative, serves his help everyday. The place is worthy of recommendation. We spent our holiday time comfortably in quaint area. All the best!

This home is set in a very tranquil area yet is still accessible to the town closeby. The interior is very comfortable and tasetfully. The porch and garden were lovely areas to relax for morning coffee. The host and his family were very welcoming and were a great example of Italian hospitality. Although we had issues with the WiFi during our stay, they did everything to fix it and even reimbursed us for the data we used.

De villa is prachtig gelegen op een heuvel met een adembenemend uitzicht. Hij is heel mooi en luxueus ingericht De 6 slaapkamers zijn erg ruim en elk voorzien van een douche. Enkel de uitrusting van de keuken mocht wat beter. Zo werkte de vaatwasser niet naar behoren en was de BBQ oud en versleten. Maar dat zijn dan ook de enige minpunten. Ook het terras is heel ruim en volledig overkapt wat de nodige bescherming biedt op warme dagen. Er waren 2 lounge sets en 2 grote tafels aanwezig. Het zwembad werd regelmatig gereinigd. Dat gebeurde 's morgens vroeg zodat we daar geen last van hadden. Er waren voldoende ligbedden en parasols alsook handdoeken aanwezig.

Our stay at Terra Antica was a dream. The location is perfect and the property and villa are exceptional. We were close enough to town to get to restaurants and shopping and then come back for some quiet relaxing time. There are numerous wineries to visit in the area. Day trips to other local towns are easy to do as well. The private jacuzzi was an extra bonus & we used it several times during our stay. We will be back again!

Absolutely wonderful space for our five days in Tuscany with four adults and two toddlers. It was too cold for the pool to be open but we used the heated tub a couple days. Heads up about the tub- it took 1-2 days to fully heat up bc it is heated by building a fire. Then once it heated up it was wayyy too hot, so then it took a day to fully cool down to be safe for humans. It was a fun adventure to figure out!! There was so much space for the kiddos to explore and play in. The view is breathtaking. You are far enough from the towns to feel like you can completely relax but also close enough to do day trips to nearby towns. Heavenly week! There’s a cute farmers market on Friday mornings in paciano where there’s a cheese stand that had the most incredible cheeses! Leslie the point of contact person was super responsive and welcoming. The wind slammed the door shut one morning which locked us out but Leslie acted quickly and was able to get us back in remarkably fast! Best week ever!

An absolutely outstanding location with wonderful gardens, views, romantic spots to eat outside and excellent pool. Campagnano di Roma is well situated - close to FCO and Rome itself. There is so much to do in the area. We stayed whilst another family were in the 2nd property and it still felt private like we had the place to ourselves. Olympia is a fantastic host for Ludovica and family. This is our 3/4 visit and we will definitely be back. Wonderful wonderful place and home. Make sure to visit Sutri and the tombs, ampitheatre, grounds and church inside the rock. Just WOW. SO many amazing sights to see in the area. Enjoy as much as we have.

Ons verblijf in de villa van Loredana was fantastisch. Bij aankomst werden we verrast met een royale welkomsmand, met lekkernijen en heerlijke wijnen. De moeder van Loredana was er om ons op een heel hartelijke manier te ontvangen, ze is echt een schat. Het huis is heel erg ruim en mooi ingericht, met een prachtige keuken die compleet is uitgerust. Naast diverse mooie zitgedeelten in het huis, heb je de beschikking over drie grote slaapkamers en 2 nette badkamers. De tuin is hartstikke mooi en goed onderhouden door haar vader. Ook in de tuin heb je verschillende zithoeken waar je heerlijk kunt relaxen. Het zwembad is heerlijk, alles is erg schoon. Je komt hier goed tot rust in de prachtige omgeving. We chose Il Sole del Sodo because it had 6 en-suite rooms, a pool, was close to a town and a train station and had a well- regarded host who could provide extras like breakfast, dinners, cooking classes and olive oil tastings e.g. Claudia! While rustic, the villa’s charm and peaceful spaces draw you right in and Claudia’s hospitality is unsurpassed. The villa fronts to the road to Cortona and backs to a field of sunflowers. Our family and friends dined on the private patio and found a back way to walk up to Cortona for exercise. A unique and wonderful experience!

Superbe emplacement en hauteur de la campagne et des collines d’Ombrie. Vues magnifiques depuis la maison et le jardin. Équipement parfait et les 2 maisons permettent de séparer les adultes des plus jeunes ce qui a participé au déroulement très agréable des vacances familiales.

Well - I dont know where to start Basics - place is amazing. House, area, facilities, everything inside - by far the best airbnb we have been to and we will come back with friends again! You can't go wrong with this place and rating of 5 does not make justice- it should be 10 Now - this is all is nothing compared to how amazing hosts are - - i have never seen such hospitality and care before. We had a very difficult personal situation with my mom ending in the hospital and my wife getting very sick. Lavinia, Lorenzo and family were SOOOO helpful - they helped with EVERYTHING - there are real angels who helped us get through this very difficult time. I thank them all and pls come and stay here - region is great, place is second to none and hosts are just nicest people you will meet!

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany! We were able to make use of the pool on the first day with our two boys, 7 and 4. We visited Pienza, Montepulciano and Montelccino. We also purchased two of the wines from the estate. Alex made everything very easy and was a great host!

The house was great with amazing countryside views. The rooms and common areas were spacious. Our favorite spot was the enclosed patio dining area where we had breakfast every morning overlooking the rolling hills. The hosts were great, very responsive and helpful.. One of the hairdryers was not working but Maurizio got us 2 new ones in no time. He also gave us recommendations for restaurants. Awesome hosts!

From the beginning, Marlene was an excellent host and Stijn, a most excellent property mgr. The house is even more beautiful in person. This is a magical place for tranquility and relaxation. The house is pristine and has all the amenities , we immediately felt right at home. We asked and they recommended farm to table cooking classes, and nearby towns to visit. All excellent experiences. Wonderful memories were made cooking and grilling, picking herbs from the garden. We enjoyed this truly spectacular home. The views from the hilltop where the house is located are breathtaking. There is a beautiful infinity pool and a great barbecue area. Watching sunsets and star gazing . We had just celebrated our daughter’s wedding and traveled from Rome and the serenity and Zen of the house and surroundings were just what we needed. Stijn took great care of us. We will return to this slice of heaven on earth. Thank you Marlene for sharing your beautiful home with us. It exceeded our expectation

We had an excellent time staying at this family home with an amazing view of Torrita di Siena. Great access to many popular hill towns (Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, etc). The house and property are beautiful, very private and populated with song birds and olive trees. The hosts are charming and very welcoming. They provided us with all the recommendations we needed and were readily available whenever we wanted to communicate with them. The house is well appointed and has multiple ways to cook from gas range to pizza oven and wood fired grill. I really liked using the giant pinecones as fire starter. We would definitely return and hope to. Such a precious slice of paradise.

La casa di Francesca e Vittorio è un paradiso a pochi km da Roma L' interno è curato nei minimi dettagli, soprattutto la stanza padronale ,magnifica veranda coperta dove abbiamo goduto di colazioni indimenticabili, esterno con piscina pazzesco,vi sembrerà di essere nelle campagne londinesi. La cucina è un sogno , super attrezzata , la vista verso l' esterno al tramonto vi farà dimenticare di tutto! Consigliato per chi ama la campagna e la natura, la cagnolina Elisabetta ci ha fatto compagnia per tutta la durata del soggiorno, check in flessibile, host amichevoli! grazie di tutto siamo stati benissimo!

une excellente semaine de passée dans cette magnifique villa. Les équipements sont bien adaptés pour un groupe de 20 personnes. Les hôtes sont disponibles et réactifs par messages pour les informations nécessaires. Rien à rajouter ! c'était super !! je recommande +++++++ Merci !

Eine extrem gemütliche, alleinstehende Villa mit wunderschöner Aussicht und vielen schönen Örtchen zum Verweilen - grosse Veranda mit riesigem Esstisch (ein weiterer ist im Haus) und grosse Rasenfläche (auch für Ballspiele (vorhanden!) geeignet), Grillstelle und mehrere Hängematten, grosser, schöner Innenbereich, super schöner, sauberer Pool (Anfang Oktober war er sehr kalt aber trotzdem einladend!), bequeme Sonnenliegen. Grundsätzlich ist einfach alles super durchdacht, auch in der Küche ist alles da, was man zum Kochen und Backen braucht. Sehr auffällig fanden wir die unkomplizierten und großzügigen Gastgeber (grosse Früchteschale, Wein und gekühltes Wasser bei der Ankunft, Kaffee und Toilettenpapier auf Vorrat, und das aus Versehen verschlagene Geschirr liessen sie gut sein) und auch Michela, die während unseres Aufenthalts unsere Anprechperson war, war total herzlich und dezent (war nur einmal da zum Pool putzen als wir weg waren). Wir empfehlen diesen Ort auf jeden Fall weiter!

Our stay at the villa was absolutely incredible! The property (villa, surrounding grounds and the pool area) and the view were beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. it is exactly what you envision when thinking of a Tuscan villa. The house is large and clean, and it easily accommodated five adults with lots of extra room. The location is also very convenient, being close to a large grocery store and to the A1 highway. There are many restaurants and wineries nearby as well. Marco was a fantastic host who was very communicative and responsive. His parents (Ario and Santina), who live nearby, were lovely and friendly, while also giving us our space and privacy. Thank you very much Marco, Ario and Santina!!! We were sad to leave your beautiful villa and hope to be back soon!!

Vi har haft en dejlig påskeferie i Villa White som levede op til alle forventninger. En meget smuk have og masser af plads i huset. Vi var 8 mennesker. Fantastisk udsigt over området fra altanen. Vejret var for koldt til fuldt at nyde poolen, men indretning med området omkring poolen var super hyggelig. Soveværelserne var fine, vi kunne have ønsket os mere sofaplads i stuen og lidt flere fade og service i køkkenet. Dario og Emanuella var virkelig søde og hjælpsomme. Landskabet i området er meget smukt. Der er mulighed for masser af udflugter i nærområdet med bil, og nemt også at komme til Rom. Vi kan varmt anbefale at holde ferie her.

Wir hatten mit einer Gruppe von sechs Freunden einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Matteo und seine Familie sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Bei Fragen haben wir immer sehr schnell eine Antwort bekommen. Der Check-In verlief super und wir haben auch Empfehlungen für unseren Urlaub bekommen. Besonders die Eltern von Matteo, die direkt nebenan wohnen, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht.

Mario and his daughter Francesca are wonderful hosts with the most amazing property in Umbra! We were a big group of 18 friends, and Villa Mari was the perfect place for us because it is comfortable, stunning and has the fasilities for a big group who wants independency. Mario was easily in reach at any time if we had any problems. The property lies besides two other houses, but it feels very private and like you are all alone on the hill side. I cannot describe how beautiful the nature is, and the villa is also even better than in the pictures. Thank you very, very much Mario and Francesca! We hope to see you again:-)

VERY rural location,which we loved,but if you are not used to country living and driving on country roads,the location could be intimidating.We were there in April,too early to be able to use the pool,but we did use the charcoal grill and ate outside several times. The surroundings are spectacular and you can hike up to the charming town of Civitella D'Agliano. There are grocery stores available as well as several pizzerias.We used it as a base for day trips to Umbria and Tuscany. We had a lovely 12 days here!

Nicokai war einer der besten Hosts, die ich bisher hatte. Er war stets erreichbar und hat sich bei Problemen sofort gekümmert (z.B. war der Pool nach einem Unwetter voll mit Blättern und Insekten, worauf er direkt auf Rückfrage eine Poolreinigung veranlasst hat). Das Haus war wirklich sehr schön und wir haben uns mit unserer 6 köpfigen Gruppe sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist auch gegeben, wenn auch rund 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, war der Supermarkt perfekt ausgestattet und Preis-Leistungstechnisch sehr gut aufgestellt. Ich würde jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen - eine klare Empfehlung!
