Beautifully located in nature, completely away from everything, quiet with a great view. Delphine is an outstanding host, very charming and communicative. We were able to communicate well in English. She showed us the farm animals, and we loved her dogs. All are calm and sociable, definitely suitable for children and people afraid of jumping and barking dogs. The nights at Delphine's were a highlight on our trip.

If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place, a pretty little village of 600 inhabitants. Martine is welcoming. The accommodation is nice, cozy and equipped with all the necessities, we had forgotten the towels and were pleasantly surprised to find some available, the bedding is comfortable. The area is very beautiful. Upaix is close to a small town Laragne Monteglin where you will find all the useful shops and restaurants, we ate at the Delicatessen and we recommend it. We were not able to eat at Upaix at Beau Soleil because you have to book in advance. We also recommend visiting the Sisteron Citadel, which is a 15-minute drive away. We plan to return to this place to discover the Gorges de la Méouge.

A peaceful break... A few days with family at Fabrizio's in his beautiful quiet sheepfold surrounded by mountains and we were rejuvenated! Beautiful hikes nearby or simply rest on the terrace, to each their own... Fabrizio is such a lovely host in every way! In short, you'll understand. Don't hesitate to go to Orpierre in Fabrizio's house. ❤️
