The cabin is a perfect starting point for trips both inwards and outwards of the fjord if you want to experience more of the beautiful surrounding area. A real gem for those who want to find peace in idyllic western Norwegian nature.

Towels and bed sheets are provided. 10-minute walk to Dalalåven, where there is a café in the summer and various events throughout the year. You will also find electric car chargers at Dalalåven. Gas refrigerator and gas burner, solar cell for charging. You can rent a hot tub, electric bicycles, SUP boards or a snazzy Fiat 500 to drive around (for a fee, NOK 1500 for the hot tub). Great hiking opportunities in the community. Mountains and water! Park up on the farm and walk down about 250 meters to the cabin. The hot tub and shower are located next to the main house. Renovated, older farmhouse with unparalleled views! The area here is perfect for an active vacation, summer and winter! After a good day on the go, possibly in the sunshine, there is a private outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy the views and the evening peace! In the house you will find pictures and trip tips from the surrounding area. All the tours mentioned are tried and recommended by our small, sprightly co-hosts of 10, 12 and 14 years! Bed linens and towels are included in the rent and are ready for your arrival!

Eldhuset is a cozy, small cabin that is best suited for couples, possibly with young children. It has its own patio with a screened in terrace on one side and a small lawn on the other side. From the cabin you can see a mountain and fjord through a smallholding with operating buildings, but you don't need to go that far to get all the views you want! Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

Flåm Retreat - Exclusive and sustainable mini-house

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.
