House vacation rentals in Orinda

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

Job’s place is a true gem. The pictures dont do the place justice. Its beautfully decorated with excellent amenites both in and outside the house. The view is unbeatable and the locaion is so peaceful. The pool house was one of the top highlights. Job was a very helpful host and super responsive to our requests. Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

I love this place. My favorite Airbnb to date. It’s more beautiful in person. They have everything you can think of, very accommodating. He even let us check in early. I love this place. We will definitely stay again. And Kenny is so friendly!

This place is pristine. I couldn't have been more comfortable. Megan is a great person to deal with. There is a lot of great restaurants around and it was close to our family. All in all, a great place to stay.

Anna’s place is spotless clean, her place makes me feel I’m home. Anna is very responsive with all my questions and also very helpful suggesting places to eat and places where we can go. Definitely recommend her place with my friends and to everyone. And I will definitely rebooked her place when I’m back in the Bay Area. Thanks again Anna.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay in Oakland! The space was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for everything we needed. A bit hilly for parking and driving up if you are not used to it. The host was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Everything is brand new and beautifully set up. Thoughtful and gracious touches everywhere, like coffee and tea set up for guests. Comfy beds, nice towels etc, great showers. A gorgeous house on a beautiful street in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Berkeley. Easy parking, super walkable, great access to all the best of the Bay Area. Scott was super responsive and nice. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

My family has stayed in many Airbnbs and this was one of the best. The place has a zen feel to it, and it’s very comfortable and spacious. It is very thoughtfully decorated with cool artwork and very nice furniture. Also very clean and well taken care of, and feels much more like a cozy home than a rental. The backyard is very relaxing and has a great view of the bay. I stayed here with my wife and 3 kids and we would definitely do so again in the future. Thanks for having us!!

We had a family of 3 with adult childern attending a graduation, and this was perfect. Full kitchen, with starters (ie olive oil…) and great appliances , let us eat some meals at home and do laundry. Had what we needed and is less then half mile from town and safeway. Nice picnic table in back yard. Note it does not face the street. Access is narrow driveway between 2 homes which face street. Maps picks this up better than google maps or waze ( for us).

John was a wonderful host - he really does a great job with everything- the home was perfect for our gathering and we loved the kitchen and living room open floor plan - the house is so beautiful and comfortable and clean- and the kitchen was so well stocked -and spacious -and fun to cook- in with our teens being able to sit around the island and talk - the arrangement of furniture and rooms is conducive to socializing conversation ans interaction-the view is amazing and stunning -the plants and landscaping and succulents were gorgeous- we also loved the claw tooth tub -John was a perfect host and we are all so happy with the experience.

This is a very conveniently located house, near the restaurants and shops of Solano Avenue and the Albany Hill Park, and very close to the Albany entrances to the freeways. The front of the house looks over the freeway to the bay with vistas to Marin, the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. While it is very close to the roads, the house is well sound-proofed. The bedrooms are especially quiet. The house is clean and recently renovated. All in all a good value.

This is a tastefully updated classic craftsman style home. The home was immaculate and exactly as described. We appreciated the snacks provided by our host. The neighborhood is safe and lovely with Victorian or craftsmen homes throughout the area. We were really delighted to find that we had parking in the driveway. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. Christine was very responsive and clearly communicated expectations. I suggest bringing warm slippers this is a no shoes place and the floors can be quite cold. We found great restaurants nearby and would definitely rebook this place.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Excellent communication and clear instructions. The home was well located and had easy access to anywhere we needed to go with a safe parking area for the car, and felt private. The garden/yard was very cute, and was well maintained with some young fruit trees and citrus, plus a nice grassy area where my son loved to throw a football. The patio area in the back was refreshing and felt private and calming. Had everything we could ask for. Thank you!

This place really lives up to its name - Urban Oasis. It should have the word paradise added to the description. I was looking for a place to host international guests and wanted a place which they could rest and have some privacy as they recovered from jet lag. As a local resident, I found it hard to believe that such a beautiful location existed so close by. The backyard reminded me of Hawaii. It was so beautiful and serene. Albena has gone above and beyond with all her unique decorative touches, supplies for the home (from phone chargers to best selling books). We used the kitchen quite a bit and it was stocked with pots, lots of dishes, and cooking utensils and supplies. Albena was so warm and friendly and super responsive and had some great tips for what to do. I even learned a few new things. My guests would have been happy to just stay in the home and enjoy it rather than venturing out to SF. I've already recommended this place to friends. It's so delightful!

Home matched description, was very clean and had all amenities. Sami was a great communicator. Previously lived in the area for 15 years and was back with my family for a wedding. Great area with al ot to do locally should you choose. Great place for a family stay.

We had a truly lovely stay here during a visit for our daughter's graduation. Jace was so helpful and communicative and gave us a lot of tips and advice. The home is lovely in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, and we were able to walk to many wonderful shops and restaurants. Wish we had discovered this sooner!
