Cabin vacation rentals in Orange County

Maria and her husband were a great host, we were looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life for a short while and found it. The property is peaceful, you’re surrounded by birds, squirrels and other wildlife (we saw several Deers). The cabin is rustic, clean and pleasant. Once we arrived the AC was already turned on and Jacuzzi prepares. Will definitely be back soon!

Very cute within a nice naturistic town

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful scenery. Lots to do on the property without even leaving the house. The house is fully stocked. If you accidentally leave anything behind.. this house will have it. Comfortable beds. The pool table and poker table was a lot of fun. The hottub was awesome. WiFi works great. I went in the river a few times but keep in mind the current is strong if you are not a good swimmer. I could have stayed even longer, I did not want to leave! Left feeling very refreshed as if I left the spa. This is a great house for a family or friend’s retreat. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone thinking about it. There are some shops 15mins away if you need anything. Chinese food, liquor store, convenience store etc

What a great time we had. The place is secluded and quiet. The outdoor hot tub was a welcome plus. Our plan was to go hiking but we loved the cage so much we just hung out there. I would definitely recommend a stay at Brian’s cottage!!

Brian is a great host! He proactively answered some questions before I had to ask and was always quick to respond. The lodge was clean, beautiful, and you really can’t beat the view from the deck. Would definitely love to come back!

Kate and Brad’s home is exactly as pictured and more! We felt cozy and right at home, despite it being a rainy weekend trip. The side deck was in the process of being redone, so we didn’t get to use the hot tub, but they were proactive and communicative about the construction, and offered fair compensation for the inconvenience. Excellent and easy to use sauna and we made good use of the yard and fire pit in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, and even included a knife sharpener (I’ve made a habit of bringing my own due to dull knives at other homes). Great access to a lakefront, too, and they provide kayaks, if you’re up for a paddle! Bonus points for traveling with a pet with all the extra supplies handy; you can really tell they are animal lovers, too! We would absolutely stay again!

My friends and I had an unforgettable stay at this cozy mountain cabin! From the moment I arrived, I was taken in by the breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Mornings were magical with coffee on the porch surrounded by trees and birdsong, and evenings by the fireplace were the perfect way to unwind. I especially appreciated the little touches—extra blankets, board games, and a detailed local guidebook provided by the host. If you’re looking for a quiet escape in nature, this is the perfect place. Whether you’re hiking nearby trails or just relaxing with a good book, this cabin offers the perfect balance of adventure and rest. I’ll definitely be back!

William’s cabin is like something out of a movie. The cabin itself is beautiful, made with exceptional craftsmanship. The floors are all hardwood, but our dogs had no problems with it (they usually won’t walk on wood floors). The location is so peaceful, I’d never guess how close we were to shops - but William left a binder with minimal, easy house instructions and lists of all sorts of local attractions - farms, wineries, restaurants, and so on. Everything appliwas as described and worked perfectly. The grounds are almost park-like, but there’s no doubt you’re in nature. We heard barred owls near the cabin at night, and down by the river by day are kingfishers, herons, pileated woodpeckers, and all the usual smaller birds. Obviously, bring bug spray, as with everywhere that’s more rural. There are hiking trials nearby, & the cabin is easy walking distance to the Appalachian trail - if you take it heading west, you’ll get gorgeous views. Overall, 10/10 can’t wait to come back

Kristina’s place fit our group nicely! We were down there for an event and had 6 people (plus a kid) that fit in her home nicely. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, kitchen was well stocked and clean, couches were comfy to lounge on, and it was easy to find when arriving. We will be staying here again if we need this amount of space in the future! Plus it was dog friendly which is always a huge plus! There’s a nice little loop to walk them in the neighborhood too!

Amazing air bnb, Laura is a great host very responsive and considerate. We had to leave a bit later because of a snow storm but she was super understanding and helpful. It’s a great cabin for an escape in the woods.

Susie's cabin is legitimately amazing. We were going for a rustic weekend out in the woods--and Susie's place delivered. Clean, warm, cozy, comfortable, with a great deck and BBQ grill/fire pit out back. There is a little store right next to the cabin, grocery stores very close, and a butcher if you have a grilling/BBQ night in mind. Susie herself was also lovely and was very sweet and responsive. Would highly recommend--particularly for a couple from NYC who is looking for a change of pace for a few days. Susie's cabin is also very easy to get to.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

Wonderful cabin, well appointed with a great view of the Lake! Very peaceful in winter. A well appointed kitchen and a wood burning stove fireplace made staying in a joy! Both hosts were a pleasure to speak with and always responsive. Looks forward to opportunities to return!

There is no way to compliment Paul and Chun enough for their house. The place is even better than on the photos and has a very strong positive energy. We felt right "at home" or even better than home as soon as we stepped in. Paul and Chun made sure everything was OK with everything. The kitchen is well-equipped and motivated us to prepare many of our own meals. The surroundings are beautiful, and the centered fireplace makes for a second TV. We loved it and wanted to stay longer. Paul and Chun were very helpful and accommodating. We will keep it in our favs as a place to go back to. Sam

Thank you for a great stay! The house was beautiful and centrally located to the things we needed to be close to! Matteo has everything you really need in the home and was a great host with fast responses! I would definitely stay again and would also recommend to family or a friend!

Place was great! Only issue (very minor) was road leading to cabin had a few steep portions. But loved the place.

Our stay at Erik's wonderful place was perfect -- close (walking distance) to miles of hiking trails, well equipped for cooking, games, and relaaxion, and a perfect place for a family gathering. I would definitely stay there again!

Such a cute place to stay! Clean, super cozy and quaint. The tree house was so cool and different and we loved it! Can’t wait to stay again!

We loved going to the lake nearby, and within walking distance. The outdoor backyard was a great place for us to hang out. The smell of mildew in the bedrooms could use some attention and the price point was high, but overall a good find.

My fiancé and I took a spur of the moment weekend trip to this beautiful Airbnb. The host was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the gorgeous views of the mountains and River. We only stayed for one night but we felt cozy and slept great in the Airbnb.

Super clean and comfy accommodations. Great for a big family stay and having access to bedrooms and bathrooms on one floor was a big plus having all generations of family with us. The grounds outside are beautiful as well.
