Cosy Seafront Loft, Wonderful View

This is a comfortable L-shaped studio apartment, situated in a house facing the waterfront, in the historical town of Bakar. There is a living room with a kitchen, a small bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The loft is on the fourth floor of an old stone house. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, the boats and the old houses on the hill built closely to one another in traditional Mediterranean style. If you want to know real Croatia and you don't like the tourist crowds, Bakar is the right destination for you. From here you can make trips and get to know the Northern Adriatic Area and its natural and cultural attractions (the Islands of Krk and Cres, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Risnjak and Northern Velebit National Parks, the Istrian Peninsula, some amazing towns like Opatija, Pula, Rijeka, Rovinj. The town itself has everything you need – restaurants, cafes and grocery stores, a post office and a pharmacy. If you want to go swimming the nearest pebbly and rocky beaches are about 3 km away easily reachable by bus or a bike. The bus stop is just next to the house. There are plenty of other beaches within 10-15 km. However, staying in Bakar is meant for those people who are NOT primarily interested in sunbathing but rather in sightseeing, hiking, cycling, peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere of a small town. PLEASE READ ALL THE INFO IN FURTHER DESCRIPTIONS because this is a specific area.Bakar is a small isolated village in the center of all large tourist places. It does not have a beach and you need to have a car to move arround. All the interesting places to see are in range of 5-20 kilometers(beach Kostrena,Crikvenica,Opatija,Rijeka).Studio has a small indor place and a large outdoor area(terrace and garden).It is located in old city up the hill and you have 30 stairs to get to the apartment.

New studio apartment in a private house. Apartment has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, heating, A/C, TV-SAT, Wi-Fi, etc. There is a free parking slot in front of a house. There are supermarket, doctor and pharmacy, restourants, coffe shops, gas station and post office nearby. Kostrena has 3km long coast with beautiful beaches, good restourants and many beach bars. Distance between the house and the nearest beach is 10 min ( by foot ). Children under 5 years are free of charge.

Blanka and her husband are great hosts who welcomed us with a smile, a basket of fruit from their trees (spectacular figs) and in the fridge we found jam and juice made by Blanca, very good, and there was already a bottle of fresh water !! The apartment was impeccable and they were very helpful. We felt right at home, the area is very quiet and the view from the terrace is beautiful. We also arrived with our medium/large dog and Blanka and her husband were very friendly! Beautiful beaches nearby... we will definitely be back to visit them!

If there were six stars I would have given that. Beautiful quiet area with a view of the water. Great spacious super clean apartment with everything you need. Huge bathroom. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed and laundry which we did not use but great to have. Kitchen and living room very comfortable and super clean. Great communication with the host. FANTASTIC

We had a great vacation in the apartment. The hosts are very nice. We were received in a very friendly manner by Denis' mother. The apartment is very well equipped and really very nicely located. The view from the terrace is also fantastic and there are two beautiful beaches within walking distance. You can make very good day trips to Rijeka or Krk. Highly recommended!!

Host Toni welcomed us in an extremely friendly way and immediately showed us the whole house. Since he lived next door, he was always available during our stay and asked several times if we needed anything. Despite the proximity, however, there were no problems with privacy. Toni was always unobtrusive in the background and was still always available for questions. He is a very likeable person, speaks perfect Italian and English and it was nice to exchange a few fun words with him. He also had good tips for restaurants. We were 2 families and felt at home in his house. The pebble beach is within walking distance of only a few minutes. Unfortunately, like almost all corners in Croatia, it was always crowded in the middle of August, so we only used it early in the morning. However, since the villa includes a wonderful pool, this was no problem for us. A more than perfect holiday and happy to come back.

We stayed in apartment Anika at the end of October as a family with two children under 10. Eva and everyone we met from her family are really very nice. Questions that came up before and during the time there were answered very promptly. The apartment is small but everything was clean and it smelled pleasant when we arrived. There is everything you need. The garden is fantastic. We felt very comfortable there. If there is something to complain about, it is that you have to drive everywhere by car. You can't walk to the sea. We were missing something. The weather was overgrown. On rainy days, however, we were able to spend the rain breaks well in the garden. Overall, we liked it a lot.
