Heron Hideaway

MelodyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Sally & Gard were great Hosts. Their home was beautiful and homey, with many comfort details not typically found in other Airbnbs. The pond and wooded setting were specular with the fall foliage on full display during our stay! The Kitchen had everything we needed for our long-term stay and the beds and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Thank you Sally & Gard for making our stay special with your lovely home.

Anthony’s place was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! Super convenient location to all of the wineries we wanted to visit. We loved Ports Cafe for dinner 2 min away. The view was incredible and the hot tub was such an amazing addition to our evenings at the house. Everything was very clean and we felt right at home. Will be returning! Thanks!!

Treehouse on Canandaigua Lake-5+ bdrm, Hot Tub!

Muhammad Aitzaz AhsanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Christine’s place was absolutely amazing, and she was a wonderful host. She kindly accommodated our request for a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of our stay was the private tram that takes you down to a secluded beach on Lake Canandaigua — it felt like our very own mini amusement park, and the kids absolutely loved it! The only downside was the strong sulfur smell in the tap water. Although the cottage has a large water filtration system, it didn’t seem to be functioning effectively during our stay. Christine did her best to resolve the issue by resetting the system, but unfortunately, the smell persisted. Despite that, the charming cottage, unbeatable location, and warm hospitality more than made up for it. We had a great time and would definitely return!

This cabin is the perfect place to switch off from the world and relax. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is clean and well equipped. James and Renee are lovely people whose main aim is for people to enjoy the experience of staying at their properties. Jamie brought us fish from the river and kitted us out with bikes to save us hiring some. A lovely stay.

Canandaigua Lakefront Gem w/ Dock & Boat Slip

seo ilRating, 5 stars3 months ago
One of the best Airbnbs. location was great. The backyard had direct access to the lake, there was a fire put, barbeque grill, there was nothing missing and we had everything we needed. We took a 2 wheeler vehicle so we needed some help when it snowed and thr host was super responsive and had someone come over to plow the snow right away. I will definitely come back in the summers!!!

Canandaigua Lake Cottage/Bunk House

EllenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Amazing location and gathering spaces for dinner inside or out. We had a great time when the weather cooperated with the water toys. Bunk house was beautifully renovated and nice bathroom. Main house upstairs bedrooms were small - xtra bed outside those rooms for when you need to kick someone out for snoring so all good! Thanks for a great stay with friends!
A sprawling vineyard stretches across the foreground, with neatly arranged rows of grapevines leading to a tranquil blue lake in the background. The sky is partly cloudy, with wispy clouds creating an airy feel above the landscape.

Diane’s House on the wine trail

GenevaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My husband and two adult sons stayed with me. Plenty of space! Charming cottage. Chabby Chic decor very cute. Full laundry. Master bedroom located behind galley bathroom. We mostly alerted each other when we needed to block off access. Quirky and no problem for a family. Small breakfast nook in kitchen w 3 chairs. AC units and box fan kept it cool in July. Huge field of chest high wildflowers right next door! Grace helped us adjust our stay quite easily. Great fast communicator! All cottages on Seneca Lake have occasional spider or beetle, and this no exception, so we coexisted. It *is* in the country! We were visiting family but if you want wineries this is PERFECTLY sited close to many. ADA: Step up into kitchen, two bedrooms up flight of stairs. 3rd bedroom (queen) only accessible through 2nd bedroom, must leave door between open to get AC. [2nd bedroom (single bed) really a loft w no door so please note if you have small children]. Highly Recommend!

1BR vineyard stay with firepit, grill, & EVC

LeonardoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My Girlfriend and I stayed here for her 30th birthday and it was AMAZING! Super peaceful, great views, the check in was super easy. It felt like home to us and we had no complaints at all. I love that the cottage had stuff to cook so we didn’t have to eat out each day. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room were all super clean and cozy. Complaints about the water aren’t accurate. Sure, it’s a little sulfur smelling but people have to realize that this is a country area of New York and its water coming from the well. The host does a great job at filtering the water and keeping the area still home feeling. As for the bugs, we had a few lady bugs flying. But wasn’t a bother, maybe 4-5 total. But again, it’s country area. So if you come here, it’s a GREAT space for peace and great views. Just expect a little touch of the country. Would recommend to anyone and we plan to visit again. :)

Beautiful lakefront cottage

KathleenRating, 5 stars33 months ago
We really got a lot out of being right on the lake - the access was unbeatable. Rented kayaks from Canadaigua Sailboards for a week, though the cabin also has a canoe, and ate many meals and made smores and watched the sun set and ducks swim by. Swam ourselves on the hot days. Great day trips: waterfall hikes near Canadaigua (Grimes Glen then Naples for lunch), Ithaca (downtown shops and gorges hike), Watkins Glen, Corning Glass Museum including glass-making activities. Cute local towns (Geneva, Candaigua, Hammondport) have along-the-lake walks and ice cream options. Enjoyed 'Moonlight Stroll' and live music at Sonnenberg Gardens, plus Good Life Tea shop in downtown Canadaigua. Found a ton of waterfall hikes on AllTrails. Had fun at the Pageant of Steam. Noted concerts at the CMAC nearby but we didn't catch any. The private road that the cabin is on is nice for a walk too, and neighbors were friendly. All the basics are covered and we made breakfast/dinner often. No microwave but everything you need to make meals. Local Wegman's has everything you could want.
