Vacation rentals with a patio in Onrusrivier

Beautiful apartment! Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a fantastic location. Area was safe and we loved being right by the beach. Flawless communication with the host. Exactly like shown on pictures, 💯 recommended !

We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of our stay with Janine. The unit has everything you need, plus more. Thanks for the delicious coffee and all the other treats. De Kelders is a beautiful place. Thanks for letting us feel at home.

Large apartment, well appointed (nice balcony including a BBQ grill even!), and very close to the cliff path for running / walking into the centre, as described. Wium was easy to communicate with and helpful, including recommendations on where to run (and where not to), favourite restaurants/cafes/activities. Providing coffee (pods for the machine, there is also a cafetière), tea and even fresh milk and some rusks was a nice touch. Parking is inside the gate. A couple of specifics which I particularly appreciated: knives still sharp enough to cut a tomato and - joy of joys! - an adjustable-height shower! The only one I saw in 3.5 weeks in South Africa.

Wonderful apartment so well designed for a small place. The kitchen was closed off from the rest of the open plan area which is great - no cooking smells trapped in your bed clothes. Wonderful view - very confortable bed. Everything was spotless. Malinda Burden who kindly met us after 7pm was wonderful. Clear instructions, friendly and responsive. I would definitely love to visit again. The apartment may be pretty ot in Summer, but was perfect in May and a fan is provided.

The apartment was lovely, in a central location walking distance from the old Harbour, restaurants and cafés. I was able to work from the apartment with a comfortable desk and good wifi. Nonnie was a very friendly and helpful host, and she provided great recommendations, including going to the Saturday market in Stanford which was lovely.

We were very pleased with our stay with the owners. They met us when we arrived. Before the meeting they sent us the exact point of the house so that it would be easy for us to find it. The owners explained in detail where and what is and how to use what. But the most important thing is the view from the apartment - it will not leave anyone indifferent. This view was magnificent. We thank the owners for the cozy and beautiful housing.

We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Thank you so much Keri and Louise!!

We loved our stay in Hermanus! The home offers stunning views of both the mountains and the sea, and it is very spacious. It has all the amenities for a great breakaway — a fireplace for the colder evenings, a Weber braai, a coffee machine, a large TV for watching sport and movies as well as a very well equipped kitchen . An extra bonus is the work area which is private and has a lovely view over the sea. The location is excellent — very peaceful and walking distance to the beach and mountain trail. We also really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out. The hosts were great with communication and very responsive throughout. Highly recommended and we would love to return in the future.

Amazing weekend. My boys aged 6 and 7 was in 7th heaven with the downstairs playroom, it kept them busy the whole weekend. They also enjoyed the big back yard and trampoline. The rooms has got amazing white crisp linen, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the front braai with the stunning views and sounds of the ocean. When the wind picked up, we could just braai at the back. We could easily walk the Onrus llagoon and beach, enjoyed the rock pools in front of the house and also walked to Davies pool. It was a weekend to remember for young and old.

Sue’s place was an absolute dream. It was as clean as a pin, was cosy and welcoming and the garden and courtyard were a hit with the kids. Sue’s communication was outstanding and we are very thankful for the lovely stay. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible stay at Miriam’s house, from the moment we arrived. We were impressed by the attention to detail and warm welcome The location was perfect, offering both peace and quiet. Also sea view 👌 Our host was responsive, friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed.

Our stay at Jurgen und Adele Bredel's penthouse was absolutely incredible! The penthouse itself was stunning, with breathtaking views that made every moment unforgettable. Everything was exactly as promised, if not better. The attention to detail and the care put into maintaining such a beautiful space were truly appreciated. Maryna was an exceptional host —always easy to contact and so welcoming. Thank you for allowing us to experience your wonderful penthouse. We are so grateful for your hospitality and for creating such a memorable stay. We hope to return in the future!

In the middle of Hermanus with a stunning, unobstructed view of the bay. Apartment is every bit as amazing as depicted in the pictures and description. Very comfortable stay, all the amenities are pristine and in working order. Was wonderfully assisted by Elaine the entire time, and was so easy to communicate with. Walking distance to all the best spots and restaurants in town. Would 100% recommend and cannot wait to return.

What a HAVEN - an awesome and safe guest cottage! Luxurious bedding & towels with living spaces carefully styled with modern furnishings & art to highlight its best features. A huge window ensures you will have your morning coffee in bed overlooking a stunning Atlantic ocean or a late afternoon slumber with breathtaking sunset over the Vermont saltpan - double-up on mountain-view bonus & have sundowners on the balcony or deck. A splash pool, outdoor braai facilities as well as indoor dining space ensures you are covered even in windy conditions. There are many spots to snuggle up with a book & appreciate the take-one leave-one library. Fantastic amenities. A nicely stocked supermarket is a 2 minute walk away (the croissants are to die for) & you have easy access to the main road leading directly into Hermanus. Onrus beach is a leisurely 15 minute walk away – combined with the footpath from Vermont to Atlantic Drive and around the oceanfront you have yourself a wonderful 5 km route.

Such an amazing place and host, loved the fact that Colin bought us coffee, juice and milk.. the place is a literal dream and spotless . Colin is always available to respond and assist with whatever , very polite and made it so easy to live in his house .
