Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. The surroundings are perfect for discovering several beautiful places in the Netherlands. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Volendam and Amsterdam are all within half an hour driving distance. You are fifteen minutes to the IJsselmeer and with half an hour to the beach.

Come enjoy your stay at our beautiful, luxury furnished house with free view over the fields. Still in the winter you can enjoy the sun on the porch. Relax in the sunny garden (south) or make use of our sauna pod. In the evenings light a fire at the veranda and watch the stars appear in the sky. Dine in style at the marble table and afterwards stay lazy on the comfortable couch and watch a movie, or have a drink in front of the electrical fire place. We offer you 2 free bikes.

Cat & Breakfast, the B&B for cat lovers!

The Cat & Breakfast is the place for people who want to get away and love cats. Through a (lockable) hatch, our cats Dix, Jack, Moby and Ted can look you up. In addition, you can get cat-friendly inspiration. The sustainable breakfast consists of homemade vegan waffles, an organic egg, organic cheese, fruit and sandwiches. From the C&B you can reach the IJsselmeer lake in fifteen minutes and the North Sea in half an hour. Nice towns nearby are Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn.

Welcome to our lovely home 'Achter de Turf' in Medemblik. Located on the through water. At the front there is ample parking for your car, and you can come by boat, you can moor it in the Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is located within walking distance of the center, where shops, catering and cozy terraces are present. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West Frisian area. Amsterdam is 50 km away.

A short distance from IJsselmeer, Medemblik and other cities. For shopping, biking, hiking, surfing, kiteboarding or sailing. Pet welcome: max. 1 dog, 10 euro a day. Damage caused by pet is at the expense of the tenant! Hot tub is wood fired, 10 euros at a time. Barbecue is provided.
