We had an amazing time in Hostelería's place. it was as beautiful as shown in the pictures with stunning views. it's a perfect place for nature lovers and for a peaceful holiday. Our host was very friendly despite having language barrier, he was very helpful. He even got us food and was happy to bring whatever we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday.

It met all our expectations. In the getaway we made we were able to combine outings to the surroundings as well as enjoy in the house itself. The ground floor is large and diaphanous, and despite the stairs to access the bedrooms, the experience with children was satisfactory.

The house is perfect for groups, very spacious and with everything you need to spend a few days. It is also close to many towns and beautiful routes. 100% recommended.

Cozy house in a spectacular rural setting. We were 12 people and the house had everything you need to have a great weekend: spacious living room, numerous rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzy (a shame it was very bad weather and we could hardly use them), wood oven, abundant utensils, etc. The beautiful setting. A lost house between mountains with very beautiful landscapes. And if that was not enough, Roko, the neighboring dog liven us up the times we were outdoors. In short, we were very comfortable and eager to repeat.

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

the "Casa del abuelo" is located in the heart of Cantabria in a green setting with all the necessary amenities. For our group of 9 people with children, it had enough rooms and a beautiful view. In the heart of nature and less than an hour from the famous cabarceno animal park; the different caves in the region, and the most beautiful beaches in the region ( La Salvé de Laredo, El Sardinero de Santander,... ) With a strong identity, Ana has provided all the documentation of interesting places in the area. We have books and board games in abundance. In this cottage, you can enjoy the scenery and walk or drive to tourist places: Castro urduales, san vicente de la barquera,... On the other hand , a car is absolutely necessary.

My friends and I had a great weekend in the countryside. The house is large and quiet, just as we wanted. We'll be happy to come back!

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! The house is as advertised, it is a small house but perfect for a trip and to get to know the area between Cantabria and Euskadi, equipped with everything you need for a rural getaway. We went with our dog, and it also had many spaces in the area to walk. Jon was always attentive and gave us good directions whenever we needed it. 100% recommended.

It was a great stay, the house has everything you need and is super cozy. A very quiet area to enjoy nature, in a spectacular setting and centrally located to visit any point in Cantabria. Israel was very kind and told us places to go and eat. A big plus was the towel and blanket for our little dog. Thank you for everything, a luxury vacation!

The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need, including a welcome gift that we greatly appreciated. The house is perfect for a group of friends or family, with a magnificent garden to enjoy together. We loved the village. 100% recommended!!

We spent 5 nights, both Esmeralda and her family have been attentive, close and friendly with fabulous welcome details. The house is very clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen with everything you need and is located in a quiet place but close to everything to be able to see different places in Cantabria. It is in the field surrounded by cows and chickens, owned by the hosts, who delighted my children who were loved and loved by the place. 100% recommended. I would repeat without hesitation if I returned to Cantabria.

This charming studio cabin is situated in the foothills of Cambria . Beaches are really close by 10 - 25 minutes , great to explore the coastline especially east of Santander . Nice restaurants by the coast but we found the best restaurant serving high quality Spanish food just down the road in Suesa called « bonabo » so friendly , but the homemade food was just so good. The cabin is basic but well situated. Shower and toilet very small. The garden surrounding is excellent for dogs, there are animals in the fields surrounding the cabin, our dog wasn’t worried about them and didn’t worry them. A lovely little place to go.

An idyllic place to rest and enjoy the most authentic Cantabria. Horses and cows free graze on nearby lands. The views from the terrace are what it takes to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. Great for going with friends, as long as you're looking for tranquility. Conchi has been very attentive from the first moment. To repeat!!

A house with a lot of character with a nice garden next to a small river . Close to Liérganes and driving distance to the beaches and Santander. Marta is a welcoming and helpful host. We had a wonderful stay.

A very well-kept house with a beautiful garden. There was room for everyone and we were able to have a very quiet weekend. The host Teodoro was very friendly and there was no problem getting in or out of the house.

The house is beautiful and cozy. The perfect garden, our dog I enjoy it even more than we do. The site is quiet with a shop and bar very few meters away and a supermarket at the entrance of Ontoria. Lots of walking and river areas. PERFECT, we will definitely be back.
